Only two weeks until I get to go back to school and be with my wonderful sisters again! (I'll be inactive, but I'll still be able to see them!) I miss my little!!

Birthday!!
 

My wonderful sister Laura is having her birthday tomorrow! She will be turning 19 right in the middle of recruitment. We bought her roses, a card, and some very tacky balloons. I'm excited to see her reaction cause she has no idea! :D

Tomorrow's the last day of band camp for the UGA Redcoat Band. Now I can spend more time with my sisters!

My ex-boyfriend, whom I broke up with 3 months ago, because he "needed time", felt the need to contact me for the first time since the day I broke up with him to ask me to donate to his Bike Ride for MS. He has MS. All I have to say is, Men have SOME nerve!

I had a dream that the entire freshman class signed up for rush. That meant quota would be about 75. Now I have no idea why I dreamt this nor do I know what school this was. Anyway, GC has seeped into my dreams. Good luck with rush!

Tonight is an alumna's birthday celebration. :)

My bf is still in pain from his rotator cuff surgery. He is trying not to take too many painkillers since they make him dizzy and nauseous. In six weeks after this is healed, he might have to have surgery to repair the other rotator cuff. Three months will be devoted to these surgeries. :(

Formal Recruitment is finally here!

There are 52 girls going through rush. That's definitely a record!

Since this is random, I just decided to post this..

Have a slight crush on this guy in my philosophy class, but I'm way too shy to approach him. My sisters decided to take matters into their own hands and this morning I was dragged out of bed so I could look my absolute best. Hair.. Makeup.. Nice clothes.. My sisters picked it all.

Wasn't able to speak with him during class so I was kinda bummed, but it is a class of 300 so it's kinda hard to make sure he sits near me. Still, I was bummed but I talked to some sisters and they cheered me up a little.

Then after two classes, I was at the bus stop talking to my mom on the phone when I randomly saw him standing like two feet from me. He turned to look at me, so I continued to look at him. His bus pulled up just as I was getting off the phone. So I smiled at him, and he smiled back!

Be it, I didn't talk to him but it was some contact. He now knows I'm alive and I think it has to be because my sisters dragged me out of bed to make sure I looked nice.

It's random, but it made my day. Hope everyone else is having a great day too! :D

It's my job to drag you out of bed when it needs to be done...

On making my day, my sousa buddies made my day! We were at the South Carolina game, and they were my honor guard. Literally. Like I couldn't go in and out of the stadium without them.

Nothing makes you feel as protected as a huge sousa.

I hope my cold goes away soon, it sucks being sick!

Yay it's Thursday which means tommorrow is Friday. MetroDPhiE is having a Happy Hour tommorrow night. You ladies in the south should fly up to join us LOL:D There's supposed to be some alum frat guys there from a frat at my school.

I wish I was back in undergrad with you girls and no real world worries :( I haven't been in a good mood lately cuz of the financial stuff. I hate being a "grown up". I wish sometimes we could stay 18-22 foreva!!!!

Am I wrong for trying to encourage my boyfriend's daughter to attend a college with a chapter of DPhiE? I was so sad when she took Miami off her list. I figure that she is as close to a legacy as I will ever have.

Is it wrong? Hell no! Who wouldn't want to be a D Phi E? :)

As for Drexel, last night we had a more than 90% return rate for second round, and have submitted our lists for prefs. We'll see how it goes tonight...bid matching is tomorrow at the crack of dawn!
