Ramona, from the new show SURVIVOR is a Delta. She hails from Howard University and currently lives in Edison, New Jersey.

The young lady that played Rudy on the Cosby Show (I can't remember her name) is also a Delta. I read that not too long ago in JET magazine.

Since the subject of famous initiates has been raised, I've always heard that Debbie Allen is a Delta. (Supposedly a big deal because Phylicia Rashad is an AKA) Is this true?

Eclipse, when did you cross? Two of my friends crossed Eta Kappa, one in '97 (if I remember correctly) and the other in '99.

I wonder how long she is going to be on the show. I watched for the first time last night and there were two people that wanted to vote her off the island. I was a little worried. But, she SURVIVED!

I have not tuned into the show yet either, but I read up on it this morning at www.cbs.com, during "down time" at work. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif From what I understand, and please anyone correct me if I am wrong, they are split into two different tribes (located on different parts of the island). They have a intertribal competition and the losing tribe has to travel to something called "Tribal Council", and this is where they "vote off" a member of their tribe. You know, I really don't understand how they are going to determine the winner at the end either. There's no way that I could do what they're doing unnecessarily. If I was marooned or in a plane crash, sure, but just to win a million dollars, give me Regis anyday. I guess I'm spoiled and used to having things like fast food, A/C, TV, phone, etc. I'm sure I would be one of the first ones voted off.

I haven't watched the show because I always forget about it, but I heard that whoever is left wins the million dollars or whatever prize amount.

Hunydip or anyone that knows, tell me how do the participants vote on who stays or goes. Because if it comes down to being only two people left, how will the winner be chosen? By the flip of the coin?

Eating Rats and worms?!?! UGH!!

I give all of those contestents props because if there were too many bugs on that island I'd probably pass out!

I would only do it if I was GUARANTEED a million dollars. I would feel really stupid if I'd eaten a rat and swallowed a worm then ended up with a consulation prize. It just doesn't seem worth it to me.

BTW, is the million dollars before or after taxes?

I am not a Delta. A graduated from Spelman (well before 1997!) so that's why I referenced Eta Kappa.
