It has come to the Court's attention that there are people on GC who do not know how to dress or behave. The Court is currently collecting suggestions for its new treatise on "How to be Fun." Here is the start of the list.

1. Never admit to being in the band or a flag girl.
2. No Overalls (we banned them in the mid-90s)
3. When in doubt, wear black.
4. Always accessorize with pink.
5. Never admit to being in ROTC.
6. If you are a Mod, don't delete threads just because you don't like someone's perspective.
7. Always have fun on Greekchat.
8. Remember to be cougarly in everything you do.
9. Remember to respect the H&A.
10. Never, and I mean never, post pages and pages of "good lucks" in the Rush Forum.

Greek behavior can be a scary issue, like demons or the elderly or dudes in windows who look like demons.

11. If someone says something mean about someone or something you care about, make sure you repeat it over and over in multitudinous places, rehash what led up to the comment, make jillions of veiled references to it, and basically don't let it die, because the original comment may not have been hurtful enough to the person/thing you supposedly care about and they really need to think about it some more.

Oh, and my sister Melisa looks adorable in overalls - every time she's worn them out she's had guys falling over her. I don't like the get undressed to pee factor, myself.

OVERALL, I'd have to agree with internet lawyer.

The Court orders that they be referred to as the Ten Commandments of GC.

Being that we have GLOs on this board spesifically devoted to music/marching band, I don't think admitting you were in the band or Colorguard is such a bad (or Un-Panhellenic) thing. And admit it yourself...you saw Drumline and wished you knew the difference between a flam and a rimshot.

GC isn't fun when you tell your friends to go after their sisters because you didn't like what she said.

Cry me an effing river, you can't shut me up that easily toots.

some people just have a hard time handing over their GC Prom Queen crown.

I'm sorry....I just really love that crown.

I hate to argue.....but I will. I know this was already discussed. But you are forgetting that some sororities and fraternities are based on music and the band programs. So if we admit we weren't in band.....that's admitting we aren't in our organization.
Besides...I get damn good basketball seats by being in the pep band. ;)
