To the DZs and AKAs
 

Have you ladies noticed that pink and green is really hot right now?? Or is it just in Arkansas? Because all the stores are carrying pink and green stuff, and lots of girls are wearing it. I love that I am such a greek dork that I keep seeing that color combination and all I can think of is DZ and AKA. :D

I've always loved pink and green together...really fun colors.

Ooh, and did I mention in one store, I saw a pink polo with a little embroidered green turtle? One of my SAI sisters is also a DZ, and I'm thinking of buying it for her for her birthday. :D

I love the pink and green!! I found the cutest pink and green shoes the other day! I know alloy has a pink and green polo with the turtle. BTW if anyone knows of a good online store to get CUTE turtle things let me know. Thanks!

I don't know if there's a Nordstrom 's by where you're at, but about a month ago I bought a pink and green turtle watch for $18 in their BP department. Unfortunately, its not on their website. Hope you find it its super cute!

I've definitely noticed. During the Spring, I was buying a lot of pink and green clothes in some store (can't remember which one now), and the cashier asked me if I liked pink and green. I said yes and explained that they're my sorority's colors. Then she was like, "They're my sorority's colors, too!" Turns out she was an AKA! It was pretty cool. :)

Hey ladies, I just wanted to let you all know that on the Vans website you can customize your own shoes any color. I'm not sure if they're any one's style, but they're super cute b/c you can get them pink and green. Or any other colors you'd like. i know what you mean. i found the cutest pink and green comforter and sheet set the other day at bed bath and beyond and i was totally thinking DZ and AKA. those colors rock.

Can you believe that when I first rushed, I hated the pink & green combo! Now they are my too favorite colors!!! I feel like everything I own is either pink/green/ or the old stand by- black. All of my school stuff I bought for my classroom is pink!

The other day I was shopping and this girl had talked her mom into buying her the pink Kate Spade bookbag...how lucky!

the retail "gods" have been shining on us pink and green fans and we've been lovin' them back:D

They say the preppy look is making a big comeback. The pink and green combo were always the staple of the preppy look.
In the early-mid eighties when the "Preppie Handbook" was the gospel, pink and green was HUGE.

Yes, my wallet has a hole in it, and I wish I had a bigger bank account. Then again, I just also threw together extant pink and green things in my wardrobe.

I went to a local parade of homes last weekend, and 1/2 of the 15 homes had a little girls room decorated w/some pink/green motif. Happily, my daughter loved it & even called on of them a DZ room!

I know, but not everyone was into "that look". ;) :D I guess it's okay that certain folks are wearing it in their videos/appearances... :confused:

I just saw the new Lacoste shirts and the crocodile/alligator is TEENY TEENY TINY compared to the old ones. WTH is up with that? Or is that just the women's?

I see they too are making a comeback
 

My first Izod ( I think I was 9 or 10) was the red and white striped shirt. LOL

its only on the women's clothing...my bf's alligators are much bigger than mine. :D

The women's Lacoste shirts and the alligators are much smaller and more expensive than they were 20 years ago.

I always liked pink and green together. I was so jealous of this girl in my school who had personalized stationary from Tiffany. The note cards and envelopes were pink and her name was green.

I'm loving it!!!

The school colors of a friend's school are pink and green, and she's been loving the new stuff, too. She found some adorable pink tennis shoes with green accents.

Too bad the school doesn't have Greek life, it would be a perfect place for DZ or AKA! ;)

But I am kinda getting tired of the pink. I went into a store last week and 90% (NO LIE) of everything was pink or had pink in it. That's a bit much if you ask me. But you all carry on, RHOyal blue will be back!!! LOL

I used to think that Pink and Green don't match. I guess you get used to it, and now it just looks pretty.

All the AKAs and DZs must be extatic(?sp) this season!

I thought it was the same size on girl's as well. Anyway they use the tinier alligator on men's items that are in the higher quality line.

I know of 2 special edition shirt in the last few years - one is a silver logo that is tiny (not like the ones now) that was sold in Barney's for a cancer research benefit and the other was this really HUGE logo on a black shirt with gold accents.

Hey gals, I just wanted to let you all know that the new collection; Pink at Victoria's Secret has these really cute lounge capri pants that are bright green and say "pink" on the butt in hot pink!! They're super cute!! :)
