I have 2mb. I don't remember how much it was before but I'm at 89% capacity and that's where I was before so something's wacky.

Wasn't it used to be 1 MB? Or am I smoking crack again?

Didnt ya'll get the email saying that they were raising our limits to 250M or something. Also you'll be able to send email attachments up to 10M I think.

<lifesaver researches and returns with clipboard in hand and well chewed pencil in mouth>

Per MSN:
More E-Mail Storage -- Get a 250MB inbox -- FREE. That's over 125 times your current e-mail storage!
Larger Attachments -- Send or receive attachments of up to 10MB -- 10 times your current limit, and on average, the equivalent of 4 or 5 digital pictures*.
MSN Calendar -- Manage your time more efficiently by sharing your calendar with others. Schedule events with your friends and family, right from your Hotmail account!

The email I got said 2 weeks. MSN now says this fall. Obviously there are some technical issues they are workign on.

I STILL will not go back to hotmail.

For those of you who have it, hopefully they come through with the expanded storage. I just had too many problems with the service before.

Microsoft is evil.
Microsoft owns Hotmail.
Hotmail is evil.

Makes sense to me.

CatStarESP4 07-21-2004 12:59 AM

I just noticed it! They said more storage space is coming soon.

_Lisa_ 07-21-2004 07:54 AM

Get Gmail, it works better.

PoohsHoneyBee 07-21-2004 08:47 AM

Mine says more storage soon...They are probably trying to compete with the new gmail and yahoo. Yahoo just added tons more storage. I may just may a transition soon.

ladyj39 07-22-2004 12:47 PM

Is anyone else's hotmail being weird?

I went to check my e-mail and I can get to the "Today" page, but when I click on the "mail" tab, it says "cannot find page".

Maybe they're uploading the new storage??? Anyone else having problems?

Ginger 07-22-2004 12:48 PM

I've been having to reload quite a get (getting those "page not found" errors) but other than that, it seems okay.

Rudey 07-22-2004 01:01 PM

I spread the word of gmail to people on here...well some knew, but I would like to take credit for some of it :)

It's hard getting rid of my hotmail account because I like to check my email with a mail program and gmail doesn't support that. I have a gmail account and will use it much more if it did allow for that.

huck fotmail.

The1calledTKE 07-24-2004 05:33 PM

Hotmail is getting annoying with the spam. I am getting really tired of playboy or some site exploiting playboy spaming me to view the Trishelle Cannatella pics she did with playboy.

lifesaver 07-24-2004 08:46 PM

The spam and any other nonsense is worth the hassle. I have had the same email account since 1997. People from 7 years ago can still reach me. Thats pricesless to me. Hate that chit that half of my friends change email addys weekly. Its a pain in MY ass. Just stick with something ok?

The1calledTKE 07-27-2004 06:33 PM

Wow my hotmail account now has 2000mb space. And I thought my gmail's 1000mb was alot.

bluefish81 07-27-2004 07:21 PM

Hotmail is really starting to annoy me. I've been trying to send emails out to some of my friends, like 4 or five at a time and all of the AOL ones keep bouncing back. Even if I hit reply to one that's come in. Sooo annoying. And I haven't gotten my extra storage space yet.

Nope. I really have 2000mb with hotmail. When I used MSN it gave me a bigger account. It was 25mb I believe. Since I paid for it I keep it for a year even though I don't use msn any longer. So I guess the 25Mb accounts now are 2000mb now. Supposenly the free accounts are 1000mb like gmail now.
