In this thread, we have an important business meeting.
Let's talk about the latest and greatest in the industry. We should alter our paradigm so that we can be more proactive as an organization. We need a soup-to-nuts solution. Let's think outside the box!
|
We need to talk about your TPS reports. Uh, did you get that memo? It's just that we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before now before they go out now. So I'd really appreciate it if you could just remember to do that from now on. That'd be great.
|
We need to talk about which scribe to hire and which helmer will lens the next pic.

I'd like to recommend a more cost-efficient vendor for our coffee in the breakroom, can someone get me a point by point breakdown of what we're paying now? |
has the fuckin' termsheet been agreed to and signed yet?
|
That's not very professional language to be using in this important meeting.
|
Let's fire her!
|
well shit, it's everyday language in my office. "typical vc terms" is what we call them! :D
|
We'll have to take it up with HR. Moving right along...
|
Can someone provide the forecast for the cost analysis of employing an outside marketing firm to handle our advertising, or is Bob going to keep printing up those flyers on the Paint program?
|
Why does it say there's a paper jam when there's no paper jam?

What?????????????????????? The Hell are you all talking about???????????????
Is this a normal language! I am the Boss, I am a Great Boss! Been out of the Corporate shit can for many years, Whew!:D Have a nice evening!:) |
PSHAW!!! Of course there will NOT be beer, this is a strict business meeting. You need to consult Chapter 9567, Section 238, Article 2228, Paragraph 990, Line 3 of the Employee Directives to reaquaint yourself with our policy on alcoholic beverages during brunches that are subsequently followed by luncheons at Denny's before productivity meetings. I am appalled and outraged.
*Whispers*But on the real, Mark drove the van today, the keg is in the back... |
OOOOH, that was what was Great about working for a Winery, A Distillary, and then a Wholesaler of Spirits!
We did not have Cocktail luncheons!:D Yep, otay butt wheat!:D |
I know this is just a business meeting and that the board meeting isn't until later but I'd like to discuss the following resoultion today in hopes that we can pass it at the next board meeting.
WHEREAS, that the purpose of the break room and the internet is to provide fun and entertainment to our employees; and WHEREAS, the best way to have fun while bored at work is to chat with your friends, watch classic movies like Clueless and Legally Blonde, and hang out on GC; WHEREAS, the company and the employees desire to be able to have fun at work by watching fun movies and surfing the internet when they are bored; BE IT RESOLVED, The Amendment to the Greekchat bylaws presented at this meeting, pursuant to which the bylaws provisions pertaining to fun in the breakroom and on the internet is hereby approved. |
I think we should get a raise.
2% maybe? |

I'm going to have to excuse myself from the meeting...as much as I'd like to keep my nose to the grindstone here and burn the midnight oil, I was really firing on all cylinders today, so I'm going to get some R&R. I hope to continue this very important discussion first thing tomorrow.
|
I have eight bosses, eight Bob!
|
I just watched Legally Blonde. Funny stuff.
|
I wanna be in business. Liquid lunches!

hahahahahahaha!!!! "Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately." "I wouldn't say I've been missing it, Bob!" that has to be... THE best movie EVER made. :D |
Sorry I'm late. I had a job interview. Nailed it!
|
I didn't expect to find a salesman drinking coffee this late in the morning. How long you been here, Joe?
Oh, I don't know, I guess thirty, forty-five minutes maybe. Why do you ask? You must be making a lot of sales, piling up good income. Oh... uh... I'm doing all right. I could do better, but... Ohahaha I get it Paul. Back on that old "Time is Money" kick, right? Not back on it, Joe, still on it. |
Alright guys, let's bring it in. Another day, another dollar. OK well it looks like Birtha's forecast has been shelved for now, but I'd like a dog and pony show on it for the next meeting. We'll do some number crunching...there may not be a need to reinvent the wheel. mu-agd, are you making any headway on that beer situation?
