OMGoodness! I just saw my jacket online and didn't realize that the company was using it as an example! :) I wanted to open up a thread for people who find their own paraphernalia online as an example. I know there are a bunch of you out there.

I liken this thread to the "finding your letters" thread. Thanks for letting me borrow your idea!

If you go there and click the banner at the top of the site, you'll find jackets listed alphabetically by organization. Scroll down to the "T" section. My jacket can be seen from all four angles.

When they created the jacket, they did ask if they were allowed to show it online. I said it was ok with me (any exposure for Theta Nu Xi makes me VERY happy!) They said that it might be used but not necessarily. I just happened to go back to the site in need of more paraphernalia and there it was!

No, I don't get royalties unless you'd like to pay me for viewing it! ;)

I was sooooooooo having a hard time scrolling down that thing. I hope it's okay that I posted it for the lazy people.

My APO fleece jacket used to be at www.thegreekshop.com, but I can't find it anymore. I've since passed it down to one of the neos of my chapter.

Edited AGAIN to add: I just realized something! This was the original jacket. I had to return it so they could make it "Executing WOES" instead of "Executing Woes." Their mistake so they fixed it free of charge and free shipping.

random note: There are 2 DZ jackets on there, I've never seen a NPC jacket like that. Have any of you?

I had a friend that went to a small school in PA and NPC, NIC, and NPHC orgs all wore jackets like that.

I've noticed it on a few sites but never seen an NPC one in person. It probably just depends on the school. Also some people when they first initiate they want letters on everything, so they may envy the NPHC/MGLOS line jackets. I don't believe there is anything dictating that we couldn't have line jackets if we wanted them. Although we don't have lines in my GLO so it would be kinda different. :)

pixell: my grand-lil has a "line" jacket... we don't have lines at our chapter, but on campus, pretty much every glo has line jackets...

You can consider them crossing/initiation jackets. Think back to when all Greeks were wearing insignia sweaters. This isn't that much different, in a respect.

the only problem is the day time, since I am founding mothers, I dont think we can do that :(

darn....but I plan to get one of those!! how do you do the picture design thing on the back, I saw the other website it was very plain just letters, numbers, your name. or crest if nationals but we are not national......it would be cool to have a scorpion design on the back.

I'm not sure I understand why you can't do it? :) As for designs, most places the custom make jackets will either create a design to your specifications or you can send in a design for them to fancy up. For places that are good for smaller groups, check out the Local Greeks/United Greeks site (I saw you on there!) where I posted a BUNCH of paraphernalia places that I've found to be really good. Either I've gotten stuff from them or done a trial run (for most of them) to see if they do what I like.

Some people I know consider the opposite as the traditional. That is just how Iota Wear does the jackets (or they did at the time I got it).
