To make it even more convoluted, do you want to count those who OD'd like Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison, etc? Had they lived, where would they rank?

Oh, and do you want to count alcohol as a drug in this case?

But most definitly the ones that have OD'd have done too many drugs.

This is exactly who I thought of when I read the subject.

Keith Richards because of the length of his life - although, as DeltAlum said, Joplin and Morrison may have surpassed that had they lived.

I think that it's a tie between Jerry Garcia and David Crosby.

Billie Holiday isn't a rock star, but she did lots of drugs. :(

You kidding me? The Olsen estate, with all them movies, albums, etc. It's all a front for their multi million dollar coke running ring.

Certainly Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix or Janis Joplin if they hadn't died. As for rock stars who are still alive, my vote goes to Ozzy. The man is a walking commercial for how drugs fry your brain.

I 'd say Keith Richards. You'd never know it now, but he wasn't bad looking back in the early Rolling Stones days.

And yes, Ozzy SHOULD be treated as what can happen to you if you use too many drugs. It scares me when people laugh at him.


I'm going to add John Lennon to the list, though. He used to keep a mortar and pestal, and guests were invited to add whatever they had. He'd mix it up and now & again, spoon some up. Talk about your 27-year old death wish...
