Hi just wondering how many greeks on the board are from the Chicago area?

I am! I currently live on the North Side.

I grew up there. I still go home pretty often to visit my parents in the 'burbs.

me...no for long though.

Born & raised. Currently living on the SW side by Midway.

I've lived in the same house in the not so far west suburbs of Chicago.

I AM!!...northwest suburbs :D

Me! I am in the western suburbs. :)

Is your convention being held downtown?

Its being held at the Downtown Marriott on Michigan Avenue. Look for a thousand women dressed to the nines. That would be us! :)

Unfortunately I'm still out of the city but I hope you have a fun and productive conference!:)

If any of the freshmen need a place to stay in chicago still, let me know.

NW burbs, soon to be north side...

Grew up in Evanston...family still lives there.

I'm only up once in a great blue moon (as I'm in grad school and I work part-time; so I never really have any time off), although I went up for the 4th of the July, and I'll be back again in August (for a big old 4 days). I am home for the holidays too...but again, never for very long. I hope to move back after I'm done with my 2 graduate degrees; but that's not until 2007...so I have a while to figure that out!

Grew up in Northbrook (Glenbrook North).
Lived lots of places, back to Illinois.

Now as far northeast as you can get. (My GC location is out of date.) I'm four blocks south of the IL/WI line and 1/2 mile west of Lake Michigan.

And I'll be bearing a quilt to Michigan Avenue on Saturday!

Go to school in Missouri, but come home for the holidays to the NW burbs.

i grew up (and my parents still live) in Park Ridge (i went to Maine South) and i go to school at Iowa :cool:

This is kinda crazy, because I live in the northwest burbs, but I go to school at Cornell College, which is 25 minutes north of you.

it's kind of crazy how small the world gets :D

I'm from the northwest suburbs...i went to UIC for 2 years, but am now at a school outside of Tampa, Florida...but I miss Chicago sooo much!!!

I live in nw indiana about 1/2 hr from chicago :)

I live about an hour and a half from downtown just over the state line in WI.

haha definatly i was going to go to chi for my 21st comming up and just decided to stick around here instead :)

Another Region Rat in the House!! I resided in the Tri-Town and now attend Valparaiso University so I didn't go far.
