Oh kids kids kids! Tomorrow Im being sent the FV packet... how excited am I? TONS! Im also being sent a list of FOURTEEN women who are interested in Beta Sigma Phi... HOW MUCH FUN IS THAT?!

Im also FINALLY getting my RoJ badge, I STILL have my pledge pin. By the time we were ready for RoJ, our chapter was falling apart, there were 3 of us hardcore BSPers who had a small little RoJ ritual together, nothing fancy and it we didnt get pins. But, Im sending my pledge pin in soon for my RoJ badge.

Im so excited for this to finally happen!

Erica - Are you in Pittsburgh now? I thought that for some reason, but may be mistaken....

Yep...well not exactly IN Pittsburgh, but I'm definitely closer than I was. In fact, my husband and I spent the day in Pittsburgh talking to our realtor and mortgage broker. Our new house is about 15 minutes from the city.

I know that Alison just graduated from college this past spring, so she's probably knee-deep in that whole getting-on-her-feet thing.

Last I heard from her was about two months ago on either GC or over on LiveJournal... (can't remember which). She seemed to be doing just fine.

Sorry for the long delay, but heres some updates!

Ive been hella busy with all kinds of stuff (moving, bachlelorette party planning... a rush party that flopped...)

OH did I mention a rush party that flopped? My one friend and I were getting people interested left and right. Who showed up? No one. It wasnt a formal rush party - it was a "hey are you interested, were gonna tell you a bit more" party... which I was hoping would lead to me inviting those women to join.

Nope.

3 people showed. Those people happened to arrive in my car.

But there wasnt enough planning involved.

So, round 2 is coming.

This BSP stuff is my sanity right now... It really is. lol... I should write a long thank you to Intl. for letting me form this FV which currently has, well... a person who filled out a pledge form and hasnt paid and a person who has filled out her reinstatement form and hasnt paid (the second one being ME!)

Erica and I are meeting up this week to talk BSP. Hopefully we have this chapter good and runnin by the beginning of the sorority year! Woot, or slightly past the beg. of the year...

How did it go today??!!! I'm so disappointed that I couldn't make it, but I'm dying to hear all about it!

I PM'd you! There were four people there. Alison, her friend Becky, me, and my mom. My mom is really worried that she will feel like a chaperone, so if you know anyone who is middle aged who might like BSP, please invite her!

I'm really excited about this! Alison and I figure that we will truly be operating as a chapter by October. That means that we really only miss one month in the sorority year.
