Greek Pen Pals
 

I know most of us locals dont have another chapter and I thought it would be nice if some of our members was pen pals with another members of greek org.

Do you want to be pen pals exclusively with members of other locals or are you open to being pen pals with members or NPC, NIC, NPHC and NALFO?

If your chapter is willing to be pen pals with any members of those councils, I'd be willing to do it though I am an alumna of my chapter....Does that matter?

I am fine either way. I love buying Hello Kitty stationary paper for writing!! Plus we should write a mini bios (on PM), so we can learn about each other. see if your sisters also want to join, maybe they would later?

I would also be willing to participate :) I love sending cute cards to my sisters now that I'm an alumna so whats one more *lol* Do we have a chair person to coordinate those interested into a buddy system?

I'm for sending handwritten letters, just because it's much more exciting to get real mail than it is to get emails. Plus I like buying cute stationery! Emails would be just fine, too, though.

Are you going to pair us up, then? (I guess you have to wait til you get more people?)

BabyP, my suggestion is first, regular mail. Cause who gets real letters anymore? And I never get any "real" mail so this would be super fun. I also love cute stationary. :)

Maybe you could come up with a list of stuff that we could all PM you with our answers and our addresses, and you could pair people up. You could ask stuff about our hobbies and interests or something, and pair us up according to that. What do y'all think?

Also, I think for BabyP or whoever matches people up, it'd be cool to NOT match people up who are in the same type of GLO. Like, don't match someone in a local with another local, or whatnot. Just for variety. But that's just an opinion. :)

this seems like a cool idea. a long long time ago i joined this site for international pen pals. mostly people were corresponding thru email. i have a couple people who send me cards around the holidays though. i like sairose's idea about pairing up people from different GLO's.

Count me I, I would love to participate. I agree with sairose that everyone could be matched up with the different orgs. I think that would be a neat way to extend the olive branch
