NPHC Recruitment
... I'm trying to get a head start on learning information for my intake process. From what I've heard, I need to know the general history of the founding of the sorority, the principals the sorority is based on, the names of the chapters for my state, the names of the national founders, the names of my chapter founders, and the full greek alphabet. Is there anything I'm forgetting... or anything that's probably not true?
|
by the way... my html skills are horrible... lol...
|
 You have to have HTML skills to go through intake?!
Okay, sorry, that was just me trying to be funny. In all honesty, I think that the people that would know the answer to your question, probably will not answer it. Not that they aren't nice, great people, but things are kept very tight lipped in the NPHC community and what exactly happens or is tested during the intake process is not really made public. Good luck though! :D |

this is going to be interesting |
A piece of friendly advice....
You may want to change usernames. Your current name implies connection with/membership in a GLO, and since you aren't a member it is 1. a complete lack of discretion, and 2. a major breach of etiquette. |
hot damn, it's a new day!!!!!
 |
ZPBePatient..... RUN RUN RUN
At least change your screen name.... |
note of advice: the internet is a small small world. I would change the name and not post anymore about Zeta Phi Beta. And discretion is a very very good thing.
|
Yay! I was in on it first...I had a feeling that this was not going to be well received.

I don't know that I've ever seen any organization lay out what you're going to learn during a new member/intake period. While NPHC is tighter with it, it's not supposed to be common knowledge. It's across the board.

ZPBePatient ,
Anything that non-members need to know about any GLO is found on that GLOs respective website. |
way to sneak a positive, informative post under the wire, White Daisy!

1. Drop the name
2. Don't use their colors 3. Don't use phrases like "my time will come" 4. If the websites are not informative enough for you, talk to a member on your campus. |
?????
As a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., I would like to tell you that all the information posted above by people that answered this question is ABSOLUTELY 100% ACCURATE. Anything you need to know about MY organization is posted on our national website.
I would definitely recommend changing your name if you plan on being active on this site. I'm also goign to assume the you were sincere and genuine with your inquiry..........that's why I'm being polite. Some people just don't know any better. Now you know. If you need any more info please PM me. |
ZPBePatient,
I know you mean well, but by using your username and the color blue in your signature, well, that would imply that you are a member of that org, and you are not yet. It's wonderful that you are so enthusiastic about being greek, but it is not in good taste to use the letters/colors before you are a member. It is wonderful that you are so enthusiastic about the group you wish to join, but you must understand that, like others have said...all the stuff you probably need to know will be on their website, and anything else you will know when it is time to know, I am sure. |
Make sure the kool-aid is not syrupy sweet. I got the hot wings covered!

I think everything that needs to be said here, as been. Before things get out of hand, I'm closing the thread down.
ZPBePatient please contact the site admin, John Hammel, regarding screen name changes. |
