Britney's Engaged--Really!!
|
Get ready for another reality TV show.
|
What is she thinking?! You don't marry your ex-backup dancer. Especially when he has a baby, a baby mama, and another kid on the way.
|
She figures she needs to start catching up to J.Lo. ;)
|
Oops, I did it again, I came up with another dumb publicity stunt...and nothing will convince me otherwise unless this marriage actually lasts more then a weekend (or 52). It's sad that she's dragging children into this time though....

Oh, lord. Is anyone taking bets on how long this one will last?
|
Thank you! My sentiments exactly! I give it 6 months.

For those of you who think gay marriage makes a mockery of heterosexual unions...what do you think of Britney?
You can take the girl out of the trailer park, but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl. --I know someone else was thinking the same thing. |
what i just realized is that the baby's mama is Shar Jackson, the girl that played Brandy's best friend on 'Moesha'. i find that so bizarre, because how do you go from Shar to Britney? and why does Britney need to marry into this drama? of course i do not know her personally, but by what she displays, Britney does not seem ready for wife and step mother land....
|
I dont' really like the idea. But in every picture they take of the two of them she looks so happy. Which for a long time she didn't. So, maybe she has found happiness. I don't know. But I do know he needs to wear clothes that fit. And hopefully there will be no baby's momma drama going on.
|
Uh, who cares?

I just got a nasty case of brain rash just reading about this. WTF is she thinking in getting engaged to a guy who has a girlfriend, kid and another one on the way  ! That is instant drama (the just add the liquid of your choice variety). I give that marriage seven weeks.

My parents went out for two weeks before they got married. They've now been married for 30+years. Short engagments mean nothing. |
Isn't Shar Jackson "Niecey" from Moesha???
Shar Jackson ("Moesha") is the pregnant ex-girlfriend of Britney Spears' new boy toy, dancer Kevin Federline. Jackson and Federline also have a 2-year-old daughter and not surprisingly, she has some words for the new couple. "She can't wreck a home by herself, but if you're a real woman and you find out someone you're seeing has extra baggage, you say, 'Go home and take care of your business,'-" Jackson told US Weekly. "If she and Kevin want to be a couple, then that's fine with me. But there are two little kids she better be prepared to baby-sit. They might be perfect for each other. You both smoke, you both drink, and you both cheated on significant others after three years. You guys are made for each other. Have a good life." |

I'll give this one till his baby is born. Then the s*** is oing to hit the fan. I have no sympathy for Britney at all.
I gave J.Lo's new marriage 6 weeks, but I think I might lose that bet. Well I'll be damned! |

I'll give it less than 2 months. |
You are all really mean

Munchkin, you made my day :D
And I LOVE the quote from the ex. I honestly can't see Britney taking care of someone else. She's too wrapped up in herself, and can't even care for herself half the time |

Ya know. We could just start taking bets on how long it will last and will it last longer than J.Lo's! I give britney 3 months.
|
All I have to say is
|
This is all pretty sad really. I'm starting to wonder if she was too famous, too fast and too young and now she's freaking out or having some sort of breakdown. Girl is just completely out of control here.
|
Engagements can always be broken.
Marriages that last more than a day can lead to an expensive divorce. |
Ever since she broke up/cheated on Justin, she has made a long chain of bad decisions. At least it hasn't affected her music...cuz I still listen to it! Gotta love the Brit :D
I agree with whoever posted: "you can take the girl out of the trailer park, but you can never take the trailer park out of the girl" |
Man this girl has become such trash!
Watch out J. Lo, Britney's on your tail! |
I think we are watching her have a very public, very photographed nervous breakdown.

putting the focus on Britney's finance because you know, he must be just as trashy as her to do something like this considering the circumstance. the baby mama is probably angry that she didn't get a ring and she's popped out 1 kid of his (and about to have another) and has been with him for years.

I got this from another messageboard but I heard it on E!
BRITNEY SPEARS is reportedly pregnant with fiance KEVIN FEDERLINE's child, due this Christmas (04). The TOXIC singer, 22, allegedly plans to rush down the aisle with Federline, whom she has been dating for two months, as her mother LYNNE wants to ensure her daughter is married when she has her fiance's baby in December (04). Federline already has a four-year-old daughter, and is set to become a father for the second time in two weeks when former girlfriend SHAR JACKSON gives birth. A source tells a British newspaper,"Her mum has taken control now. She's let Britney do what she wanted in the past but now she wants everything done by the book. "That's why they got engaged first, rather than just get married like Britney did before." Lynne was reportedly furious when Spears got married to childhood pal JASON ALEXANDER earlier this year (JAN04) - in a Las Vegas ceremony which lasted 55 hours. Spears wants to wait until her leg - which was recently injured on a video shoot set - has healed before she says her vows. The source adds, "The reason they're getting married in November (04) is because doctors have told her she'll be fully recovered. "Everything is happening so fast, but they're really happy." |
