Annoying Puzzle
 

We used to play that game during summer camp in middle school. Except we called it "Polar bears around the icehole" and we played it w/ a deck of cards.

I got it, but it took me a while.

I don't think how smart you are plays a role in how long it takes you to get, but I do think how educated you are will make it more or less difficult.

I got it on the second try. I did it a few more times to make sure I knew how to do it and not just "lucky"... hehe

eta: That'd be a fun game to use on game night.

Guess I'm pretty stupid because I got it on the 1st try. I've always said that I gave all my brain cells to my children--here's the proof!

I got it on the first try. I don't understand the reasoning behind "the smarter you are, the longer it takes to figure out"...guess I'm not that smart! :)

I have been trying for a while now and can't get it. My head it starting to hurt now.

It took me about 5 minutes to catch on.

aahh, that took me forever to figure out!! that was really frustrating...

It wasn't that hard to figure out, I did it after looking rolling the dice 2 times.

This is maddening!!! It's going to drive me crazy until I figure it out.

WOW!!!! I'm actually amazed that I was able to figure that out in just a few minutes.... I'm always TERRIBLE at brain teasers.... This is one time when I really don't mind being on the dumb end. :p

I figured it out after a few rolls of the dice. I couldn't believe that it was so simple.

Ok, so I cheated and went through a million pages on google to find the answer, but I know now, and its dumb LOL. I would have never figured that out. Even with the clue about 5's and 3's LOL

Wow, I got it right from the first try, but then I had to do it like 10 more times just to make sure I was doing it right. I think it's probably less about how smart you are and more about how you look at things, people who are more verbal or, I don't know, literal, would get it more quickly I would guess.

I used the Wikpedia, too. I don't really agree with all the "it's so obvious once you know" thought. Or "don't think about it too much and it will jsut come to you". The solution isn't a "D'oh - of course!" kind of solution, IMO.
