Gorgeous houses, ladies! All these pictures make me want a house so badly!
|
I wish we had a house too...
all we get is a hall in the sorority / upperclasswomen dorm. |
We don't have a house either... we have a sophomore dorm that I lived on last year (moved in as a independent and moved out a Kappa!). I loved living on the hall with all the girls, it was such a great bonding experience... but not so much a great academic experience (just kidding! we got work done too!). I can't imagine how great it would be living in a house!! Lucky girls!!

One of my favorites at nearby University of Washington

MSKKG & PKTKKG --
Afaye & I drove Elise down to USC on Sunday and we fell in love with the house... we're thinking about transfering & affliating and living in Elise's room next year! You need another President & Membership Chair, right? ;) Well now that we've seen it, we'll be back soon... and maybe we can set up a rendez-vous between you lovely ladies and the GC ladies of HA! :) |
Steph, I'm sure we could find some room for y'all! Glad y'all liked the house and can't wait for your next visit!
I totally missed Elise's visit since I went to Mississippi, so I guess I'll have to meet her later. I'm sure she's terrific. |

Theta Chapter's beautiful house .... Our house was the original chancellor's mansion on Mizzou's campus, and it's shaped like a key from the air! |
EZ
Hi Ladies,
I have attempted to find pictures of my chapter's house; I hope this works! I assume that this picture was from recruitment and does not do our house justice, as the picture was shot at a bad angle and cut off most of the house; disregard the additional pictures. Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Rho Chapter at Ole Miss.
http://www.olemisskappa.org/images/kappa_house.jpg http://www.olemiss.edu/cmap/images/kappa2.jpg Their house is really big and gorgeous. When I was in school they redid the columns from a square column to a round column. They have also done a few additions and some renovations to the interior. It's really pretty in the inside too. They also have a little garden with a statue of Minerva. |
Thanks for the post, OleMissGlitter! That's where I lived for 3 years. I haven't seen any of the renovations in person though since I haven't been back to Ole Miss since I graduated--I saw pictures of some of the renovations in The Key, but that's not the same as being there. I was not able to go to our 60th anniversary celebration this year, but maybe one day I'll get to Oxford again.
|
Whoa! is that snow!? Sorry to sound ignorant, but I didn't think it snowed in Mississippi!:p
|
Sometimes. Besides, Oxford is in the northern part of Mississippi.
The Kappa house is on the corner. I remember one year when it snowed, cars were having a hard time getting up the hill. Could have been because Mississippi will get ice more than snow! :p |
Um...I wanna go on a road trip. I may just die of jealousy, though! My university would FREAK out if Greeks ever got housing here. Oh, hippies!
