yay!!!! it is that time of year again!!!! this is the best reality show ever!!!

i could not wait to start a thread. i LOVE this show!!

I can't believe they brought in Allison from the last big brother to be on that show. I hope she gets out quick. Like she needs to be on another reality show.

I thought that was Allison I saw on a preview for the show. I didnt think her and Donny would last. I have to laugh. Why is it that someone goes on one reality show then they go on like a million after that like that is all they can do for a job.

Goodness gracious, isn't there some type of clause in reality show contracts that they can't go on another TV show for like two years or something? If there isn't, there should be. :p

I'm rooting for Allison and Donny to be eliminated first, but our luck, they'll probably be one of the last three teams remaining! :rolleyes:

I went to high school with one of the girls participating. All I have to say is that this is going to be funny... :eek: :p

I was really upset with CBS when I heard that they were going to cancel the show...then it won the Emmy...THAT SAVED IT!


I love this show....it is AMAZING. I will be glued to the seat when it comes on....ALISON....i don't know how I feel about this yet, she played BB the only way she could and it cost her the game, 'nuff said on that subject.

It's about dayum time they brought back this show -- I really enjoy it. I have no idea who Alison is, though, because I don't watch BB.

Yay! I'm so glad my chapter sister Alison is back! I never watched this show in the past, but I guess I will now :)

This is the only reality show that I would ever *seriously* consider applying for! :)

Ditto. I think I'd apply for both this and ABC's "The Mole".

You use brains and physical strength rather than having to subject yourself to starvation and eating critters.

And...you get to see the world.

They did an open casting call in Honolulu that my best friend and I were supposed to go to...but we never made it there. :o Oh well.

i was a big fan of the original, 'the mole'. it is my dream to be on 'the amazing race'. i dont think that it is a good idea for me, cause frustration and i do not work well together. i would create a lot of drama for the show. i can think well under pressure, but not when i am against people that could either be ahead of me or behind. i hate not knowing. that would drive me insane.

I love this show. So glad it's back. :)

I would love to be on this show. My friend and I would be comedy gold. :)

Mole was my fave reality show when it was the mole, not celebrity mole. I miss it. We would all gather at the Sorority house then and watch it together. I miss that and the mole too.

I LOVE The Amazing Race! I am so happy this is back. It's my favorite reality show. It's so much more interesting than a lot of other reality shows.

I am having an Amazing Race kick off party and we all are drawing teams out of a hat and whoever's team wins, wins some money!

i love my show. the team from jacksonville just barely made it. yay!!

my fav. part was when one of the girls said 'i cannot wait to get to the pit stop and see phil, he is gorgeous' i thought that was so funny, cause he is very good looking. :p

the show was so awesome and exciting. i cannot wait see the rest of the season.

My two faves are Allison and Donny and the Military man and his daughter. I swear the whole show I was up pacing yelling at the tv. This is very exciting. I love this season. I am so glad Allison got the trip and first place. At least they get something if they dont make it any further. Well see.

I cant wait for next week now though.:D

Yeah, the story behind the hand is a little disturbing. I'm liking this season so far. The teams I'm rooting for are: Chip & Kim, Bob & Joyce, Charla & Mirna, and the Bowling Moms. I can't stand the Twins. I was really hoping they would come in last.

yay. im really excited for this new season...this show is just so captivating!!!

anyway, that alison chick is super lame. i didnt think her and donny would last but shes so mean to donny how can he put up with her crap??? like every little thing that he would she would just bitch and whine...eh!

im rooting for Charla & Mirna...its so messed up how everybody just referred to them as the midgets...so lame! They are definitely the underdog...so im rooting them on.

i wasnt too impressed with the other teams yet so well see how everything unfolds!!!!

I dislike the freaky Christian couple and the weird couple who talked about how AGGRESSIVE they are. I like the African-American parents, the bowling women, the pizza guys and the dad/daughter pair.

i loved that dad/daughter pair. i was so nervous that they wouldn't make it on the plane.

charla is already getting on my nerves with all that whining.

i am trying to get a feel for everyone before i pick a fav.

Yah the dad /daughter pair is the best. The old man is tough after hurting his knee. And he still carried that 100 pound meat several miles.

a very very good watch.
it's interesting tv guilde handicapped first eppy's losers as one of the favorites.
that's the beauty of this game, on any given day.

I enjoy the show as well. However, I was suprised to see so many teams trying to help one another. I've never seen that before on any other season I've watched.

I didn't watch the show last season and then last night my boyfriend says to me "you're girl is on the amazing race." I looked at him funny and he finally explained to me that Allison (who I rooted for throughout Big Brother 4) was on the Amazing Race. Needless to say, I'm hooked. Other than Allison & Donny, I really like the father daughter team. He is one tough man. My ass would have been crying and wanting to go home if I hurt myself like he did. I think they'll go far in the race, maybe not until the end though. They have the mose determination out of all of the groups. I can't wait for the next episode! :D

This is going to be a non-PC thing to say, but as long as the "little person" is still on the show, I'm going to find it hard to watch it with a straight face.

Right there with you. I like Mirna, but Charla was hyper-annoying. I loved the look on Mirna's face when Charla read the detour clue and said that the option of playing Roullette was "a sign." And after all of the "we're here to show everyone that little people can do what everyone else can do," I was struck by how often Charla was yelling "can't you run any faster, Mirna?"

Next time Brandon is sure that the Lord is going to help him and Miss Texas USA out, he may need to consider that Miss Texas USA may be the one that the Lord is giving the suggestion to.

I was sorry to see Dennis and Erika eliminated. My picks to take it all at this point would be Colin and Christie (?) or Donny and Alison. I'm really liking Major Dad and Daughter and the Bowling Moms, though.
