Help: I need a Line...(and a name)
 

I know that there are a lot of writers on GC. I myself am an unpublished author, who has completed two manuscripts (and I am in the process of shopping 1 of them to a literary agent). I need help as only the people on GC can give me.


Here's the set-up

The main character's name is Passion (long story, don't even ask. You'll understand once the book comes out).

Passion is out at a neighborhood bar & she is approached by a scrub -type guy. I need a good & original comment that an off the chain type brother would make when somebody tells him that her name is Passion. I plan to use the best one, & I will give MAD shout outs in the "acknowledgements".


Also, I need a catchy name for a Hair & Nail Salon. The one I'm currently using in the book is Hot Headz Hair & Nails.

I actually like that name, frat. The only thing I would change is the Wayout in W to something like like Wild Styles or something like that.

Line - " I have a thirst for Passion " or something to that extent

Thug- "So your name is passion. Can I taste your passion fruit?"

I promise I was thinking that same thing when I read what she needed a line for. The only difference was I was going to say I bet you taste like passion fruit.

This line is MAD hilarious to me. Every time I read it, I die laughing. But I don't understand what Passion being her name has to do with him putting his fingers in her drink. I should've prefaced that by saying that I am sometimes VERY naive, so maybe my mind just doesn't work like yours.

Hot Headz is the name of the salon that I go to. :D

There is a drink called Thug Passion. I dunno what's in it. She can order it cuz it's her name and stuff.

Him: Passion right?

Her: yeah

Him: Can I put dip my finga in it?

Her: What the hell?? Listen you nasty mutha sucka I'm not some ole raggedy chickenhead....yada yada

Him: Whoa, Whoa. Be easy. I meant in your drink...you ordered a Thug Passion right?

STRANGE'! STRANGE'! I absolutely luv it!!

Yes, thank you all so much. I decided to stick with Hot Headz Hair & Nail Salon. In the end, I liked that one the best.

As for the line, I'm using a variation of many people's suggestions. It's something like, "do you tast like fruit, can I have a bite." Something off the chain like that.
