Riddle me this GC'ers

If you have seen the answer to this before please don't ruin it for people.

A woman is at her own mother's funeral and meets a man there that she is very taken with. She talks to him and realizes that he is nearly her dream man. She neglects to get his number or name, and he leaves early. She has no way of finding out who he is or get contacts. A few days later she kills her sister.

What is her motivation for killing her sister?

ADPiAkron 06-02-2004 10:06 PM

OOO OOO I know, I know!! I will not share the answer...I just heard this on the radio the other day!!

kddani 06-02-2004 10:07 PM

Being that I just took Estates and Trusts, i immediately start thinking of this from a standpoint of the dead mother's will or lack of will. But that's probably not the answer to the riddle.

I know the answer as well. :) Only because I read it once on a message board.

If you figured it out on your own solely based on the information you got above, you think like a psychopath and remind me to stay very very far away from you!

swissmiss04 06-02-2004 10:37 PM

Sorry babe, this thread has been done before...

I was wrong... nice to know I'm not a psychopath. I assumed she discovered he was her sister's husband.

Keep the riddles coming!

A woman has 7 children, half of them are boys.
How can this be possible?

This should be an easy one.

Ginger 06-02-2004 11:10 PM

one of them is a member of SHIMs? :)

She's pregnant and knows the sex of her eighth baby?

Ok, I must be a psychopath. Because, that was my immediate answer. In fact, I was trying to determine who he was: perhaps the funeral director or the minister who performed the funeral. Scary!

I thought the same way the first time I'd heard this riddle. But I think that we aren't as crazy as those who thought the guy was just a patron of the funeral as opposed to someone like the funeral director or the minister. I mean, that would honestly make sense & people do similar acts (like visit the same place @ a different time to see someone they originally saw in the first place.)

AOIIBrandi 06-03-2004 09:21 AM

The answer was my immediate thought, then I thought that she found out he was dating her sister.

YES.

Keep em coming!!!

FirstAndFinest 06-03-2004 11:54 AM

A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50."

The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less.

In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?

ISUKappa 06-03-2004 12:43 PM

He wrote "your exact weight" as words.

FirstAndFinest 06-03-2004 02:14 PM

You got it! Keep going...

ISUKappa 06-03-2004 03:58 PM

Okay...

He starts and ends 2 common English words. One painfull in love, One painfull in everyday matter. Do you know what 2 words I must be?

I heard this one on the radio the other morning. They were giving away a prize to the first caller to get it correct. After about 45 minutes they still didn't have a winner.

If you are running a race, and you pass the person in 2nd place, what position do you now hold?

Ginger 06-09-2004 02:46 PM

first?

It seems obvious, but that probably means it's wrong!
