Fun things to do on a date
 

Okay I am sure this topic is already posted so don't haze me for re-posting again but what are some fun and original new things to do on a date?

if you are near the ocean....RED TIDE is the best date thing in the world.

i remember the first time i saw it...it was our 5th date, and we went to the beach by the hotel del in coronado island... deffinitly my best moment of july last summer...

Why does that sound like you are talking about menstration? And that is never fun on a date . . unless you are into winning your Red Wings. :p

Dinner and a movie

Tsk tsk! Mind out of the gutter!

Bonfire for two and cook your own dinner over the flames (hot dogs, smores, and other campfire food). What happens after that is totally up to you...

No! If it is a first date, you need to be able to talk... don't waste time in a movie.

Go bowling (cheesy, but fun), take a dance lesson (or any other type of class - cooking?), go to a dive bar where you can play bar sports (darts, shuffleboard, pool) - anything interactive will do!

I was about to say bowling. Bowling is great because there is a bar, you have something to do so it's not all talk and it's fun. If you have a hot girl but don't want to listen to the stupid crap she says, go to rock and bowl and make sure htere is plenty of loud music.

You have very good taste, Rudey! We used to go white-trash bowling when I was in school... we would wear Kiss or Harley shirts and pretend like we were serious. Lots of fun.

go Wine tasting or Chocolate tasting.

how about, Shopping? shopping is alawys fun to do.

how about teaching the other person how to do something ie. surfing, rollar blading, guitar...

or go do some arts and craft, pottery, shit like that.

or how about goin to the drivin range....

or just SEX

* Putt putt golfing
* Bowling
* Play pool
* Roller skating/blading
* Go-cart racing
* Go to an arcade (Dave & Buster's is an awesome adult playground)
* Go watch a local sporting event
* Go get ice cream
* Rent a comedy special from the video store
* Play board games or card games
* Go hot tubbing

Haha that explains some of my high school dates. :p

Seriously, bowling is a great date! My HS friends and I also go when we're all back in town because it's a fun way to get to hang out, and the of-agers can drink...we're at the awkward cusp where half the group is 21 and half isn't.

Since I struck out with dinner and a movie, maybe a comedy club would be a good suggestion. :)

If you're ever in chicago, check out diversey-river rock and bowl. Flirt with the bartender for drinks...the bartender might be a girl but it won't matter.

Sorry thanks to the DTDs on campus, I can never think of dinner and a movie without thinking of their impression of the ladies man's words of wisdom.

You know, I've never gone to a strip club (well with females, i've been to the bachelorette party place on Long Island). That's one of those things I want to do to just say I've done. I'll go if I can buy Rudey, Russ and Bobby the Don lapdances:D

Watch one of those cheesy "Dating Story" shows....they're so corney, but they do have orginal ideas. One of the last ones I saw was they took a guitar lesson together.

I personally love going to the park with lunch, playing on the playground equipment, and (if you don't feel uncomfortble being slightly childish) bring some bubbles along and blow bubbles.
