Also, they may as well get onstage and say "Not only am I the most beautiful girl in the world, but I'm also the smartest."

Can I say that Miss Russia's dress is hideous?

Miss Puerto Rico's teeth are ridiculously perfect.

She reminds me of Julia Roberts with that mouth.

Miss Trinidad & Tobago is a DPhiE, but she isn't on GC. Her chapter sister is.

Man I thought USA had it there for a minute. Australia is cute. But she wasn't my pick for the crown.

I'm usually good at picking these, but I didn't get the last five right AT ALL!!!!!

I really want that tiara.

The one they kept advertising was amazing!!! If I won something like that, I'd probably never take it off.

Take out the trash - with tiara.
Take a shower - with tiara.
Walk the dog - with tiara.
Go to work - with tiara.

and so on!!

I swear, if I had to watch Miss USA randomly laughing at just about nothing, I was going to start twitching. That was kind of annoying... She was gorgeous though!

I'm really happy that Australia won. She seemed to be the most natural, down to earth pageant contestant that I've ever seen.

Are there two tiaras? I liked the tiara that they showed with the Mikimoto pearls. Actually, any tiara would do. I'm not too picky. I would wear my tiara proudly everywhere also, lol!

WAAHHH!!! I can't believe I missed this! :( I forgot about it, but I would have had to miss it anyway since I was carpooling all over town for my son's swim team.

paraguay should have won!!!!!!! i am so mad. me and my bf both thought that she was stunning!!! australia definitely wasnt my pick.

As pretty as Miss USA is, she wasn't my favorite in the Miss USA pageant, so I wasn't *totally* backing her in the Miss Universe pageant :p

in my memory the top 15 is always pretty south american heavy....those womem are simply beautiful IMO. I think its a pretty historical thing also, except for that one year when it was very Far East heavy.

As i stated on another thread, she might not be Miss Universe, but she can PROUDLY say she is ONE of the FIVE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN IN THE UNIVERSE! ;)

BTW: Miss Australia's gown was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!

I totally thought USA had it too. I am kind of bummed that she didn't win, but on the other hand USA hasn't been first runner up in like a decade, so I guess that is a good sign. :)

Miss USA wasn't my first pick during the pageant, I don't even remember the state she represented, but I totally supported her now.

I think Miss USA was laughing b/c she was in shock that she made it that far. Haven't you ever done something that you never thought you'd make it and either laughed or cried?

Me too...this pagent tends to be slightly political and with the US hatin' going on in some places, I though they'd totally give it to Miss USA.

besides being gorgeous, miss australia was a safe pick...a very pc choice.

She was really beautiful, but her hair was a MESS!! I just wanted to reach into the television, and brush it for her!!

Miss Australia looks like the little sister of Jacinda from Real World London. I liked her though...she looks like she'd be someone fun to know.

And Miss Trinidad and Tobago is stunning...she did DPhiE proud. :)

I didn't watch the whole pageant because my roommates and I were too busy flipping between it, Center Stage and Queer Eye, but from what we did see --

Our favorites were India (beyond gorgeous and seemed very classy) and Australia (personality, poise, just seemed like a really friendly person). We were really glad that she won . . . I didn't like Miss USA in the Miss USA pageant and I still don't like her now.

ok, i watched this last night and i had everyone in the top five BUT paraguay and australia. i didn't even notice paraguay until she made the top 5, honestly, and australia walked like a pony. it was weird. i had USA, trinidad, india, puerto rico, and someone else....can't remember. :o then i thought it would be trinidad, PR, and USA in top three.....USA possibly winning, but def being in the top 2 with trinidad. she was fabulous! could NOT believe she went out before paraguay. :eek:

i remember not being impressed with USA in the miss USA pageant, but she seemed better this go 'round.

I really think they did go with her for a safe PC thing to do becuase i really thought Miss USA was going to take it because she was sooooo beautiful. And that is all what MISS USA AND UNIVERSE IS ...all about beauty. Donald Trump wanted glamour not scholarship...please. Miss America is more scholarship and platform first and beauty second.

To me the Miss USA and UNVERISE program has a slimmy tarnish to it because of the trumpster and is thing for hot run way model types
