Still single and proud but I do have a date tonight :D We'll see how it goes. I met the guy last Saturday night at my friend's cousin's band's show. He lives in Long Island though which puts a damper on things already because it is a commute to get there.

I probably would:D I say us single girls get together and haze the single boys. It could be part of the initiation into the GC'ers Singles Club.

Well I had my date last nite, it was fun, he was nice but I am still proud to call myself single and I think I will remain this way for awhile :) Besides, I still want to be able to participate in the hazing of the frat boys in this thread :D :D :D

I have news. I kind of have a boyfriend now. It's wierd to say. It hasn't completely hit me yet. He asked me to officially be his girlfriend over a week ago but I am still in the single girl mind set. Is that wierd?

He happens to be one of my alumnae sister's cousins too.

I'm not quite at the BF stage yet, but I think something is brewing with this intern at my job. It just turns out he is my Lil's cousin through marriage!!! It sucks that he's leaving in less than a month to go back to school, but oh well...

But, I think I want to be single for awhile. Relationships complicate things.

I'm single and proud! Not exactly loving every second of it, but the more I think about it and talk to my friends about it, I am so not ready to get into another relationship. Too much other stuff going on- school, work, trying to build up a whole new social network... no time for relationships

Single over here too! It's an interesting thing to be when my best friends both just got engaged. :p But, it's funny to see how they live vicariously through me. Apparently I'm the one who gets to live the "Sex in the City" life. LOL :)

Double standard. Single girls are seen as having issues but it is cool for a guy to be out hooking up with many women and unattached.

Lots of single guys are SO hypocritical.... They will flirt with a girl, be all over her.... and then go 5 feet away and do the same thing to another girl (and another, and another...)

So, that's fine, whatever.... But the hypocritical part comes when they get all pissy if the girls do the same thing to them. Does someone want to explain this? :rolleyes:
