Krispy Kreme to make LOW CARB Doughnuts
|
EWW...a doughnut is not supposed to be low carb. Knowing that it will take a million sit-ups to work it off is half the fun of eating it! LMAO.
|
It doesn't sound like it tastes good
|
That's no fun. I love my doughnuts to be high in calories.
|
All I'M Going to say
|
YOU go to hell!
**throwing away my doughnuts...glaring at Carla** |

I'm NOT putting down my doughnut!
I'm NOT putting down my doughnut! I'll just have to do 500 sit ups when I wake up and 500 more before I go to bed and run around the track 500 times, that's all. |
all this is making me want to go the store and buy some now.

LMAO! KK is trying to compete with the LOW Carb market. As far as their stocks are concerned, they are "feeling it". |

I'm a happy full-figured woman....but that calendar is just WRONG, CT4. *smh*
I haven't had KK since I paid nearly $7 for an assorted dozen back in May. But if I'm gonna have KK, I'm gonna have all the hot creaminess that you get when the "Hot" sign is on. *insert Homer Simpson sound effects here* Everything just isn't meant to be low-carb. |
This is worth repeating!

Krispy Kreme Sells Liquid Doughnuts
The company, coming off a sluggish period of doughnut sales, has launched a line of frozen drinks, including one that tastes like its signature glazed doughnut. The frozen drinks come in three other flavors; raspberry, latte and double chocolate. Sounds GROSS to me!! |
is it so folks can have their doughnut without having to go through the tedious excercise that is chewing? :( :o :p
|
In my Nelly voice...."that's taking it a bit too ferrr."
|
Bleah!! Doesn't sound a bit good to me. Gimme a plain ole glazed Krispy Kream that I can chew!!
|
They will not be getting my little nickels and dimes off that mess!
|
Doughnuts shakes, low-carb doughnuts...
The sad part is that people still want the pleasures of eating (or tasting) the "fattening" things without any of the consequences (weight gain, high cholesterol, etc.). Forget all the foolishness. Just eat the doughnuts. You can have one or two. Nobody said eat the whole dozen. That doughnut shake sounds awful! |
They were sampling this on GMA this morning.
Diane and everyone else liked them until they found out that they have over 600 calories and 93 grams of fat! |

Reuters Krispy Kreme Reveals SEC Probe Thursday July 29, 5:28 pm ET By Nichola Groom NEW YORK (Reuters) - Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. (NYSE:KKD - News) on Thursday said federal regulators are investigating its repurchase of franchises and lowered earnings outlook, sending the doughnut chain's shares down more than 15 percent. The informal probe by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission comes as Krispy Kreme is struggling to revitalize sales, particularly in supermarkets. The company in May slashed its profit forecast for the year by 10 percent, blaming the popularity of low-carbohydrate diets such as the Atkins and South Beach, which frown on starchy foods like pastries and bread. But one analyst said Krispy Kreme's problems go beyond the low-carb trend and added that the company may be forced to restate some financial results. |
