I have mixed emotions about this season.

First and foremost, living in NYC and with two black women in the house, Malik can find somebody to braid his hair. Yes, it's pretty but enough is enough.

Second, I don't think I like Miss Coral too much. She keeps jumping down the white boy's (the one from Ohio) throat for not understanding black people. He's from a town in Ohio that he already said is all white. This is his first chance to understand black people. At least he is making an honest effort to try. So many people in this world don't understand other ethnicities and they don't want to. At least he is taking a chance. Also, she keeps saying that he can't help being ignorant of the way that black people feel because of his upbringing. Well, if you understand that, then why not try to correct him instead of hollering at him.

Finally, I thought that Lori brought the rejection upon herself. She kept pushing up on Kevin after he already told her that he doesn't like her that way and he doesn't see the two of them together. Then, she wanted to feel stupid when he finally said and it sunk in. That's her own fault. She's a pretty and talented young lady. There are tons of guys who would love to be with her, but of course, she wants the one man who doesn't want her back. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/rolleyes.gif

There are all of my rantings about the Real World 10. Except for this one, when are they going to have a Real World in Philly???? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/confused.gif They've been everywhere else.

Ok I am going to say it, I am officially tired of that chick Coral. Last night she really got on my nerves. I'm like this at this point, you know what so what to whatever Mike has to say about his friends or whomever. Regardless of what he said about the girls before they came over, I think that she was rude to them. Let it be. She is a real *itch right about now.

Coral is getting on my LAST nerve! She just pick and pick at poor Mike. Sure, what he said was wrong...but i mean gosh, it's not like he said that about his Mother or her Friends or something! She needs some business of her own and stop picking on Mike. She made a BIG scene out of that, which wasn't necessary.
The confrontations between Coral and Mike are getting old anyway...CAN I LEARN MORE ABOUT MALIK (with his fine self) OR SOMEONE ELSE IN THE HOUSE, Please?? Besides Lori, ole' boy, Coral and Mike.

Coral enjoys tormenting Mike since he is a weak person. She is one of those people who enjoy preying on weak individuals She is basically a bully and Mike allows himself to be bully.

When Malik's friend challenged her, notice she didn't jump all over him.

Coral and Mike need to move on. If you don't like someone, leave them alone and just be cordial.

And I can't wait for the blowout betweeen Coral and Nicole.

When Mike finally snaps on Coral, she will back off until then, she's gonna keep treating him like he is below her. Lori is just plain needy. Do you really have to have a man that bad? As soon as Kevin said no she's all up in Stevie B's face looking for love. Girl, have some pride! Coral and Nicole are gonna have a blowup? I can't wait!

Coral: Dont like her at all she is a *itch!(She is not representing the Bay Area well) At first I thought that maybe she was naturally hurt, upset and disgusted with Mike comments, but its going on the 5th episode she needs to get a life. She had no right whatsover to even hint to those girls (Mike's company) that he had made a rude comment. So what!!! If she would have made a comment about her company prior to their arrival do you think Mike or anybody in the house would be rude to her company on that level? She needs to exhale!

Lori: Desperate, ugh she makes me just shake my head. Does she know she's on national televison. I mean wouldn't you be aware of how they were going to make you look if you were on the show?

Kevin: Boring, he seems like your avergae white male college student. Nothing bad or good about him so far.

Mike: He was out of order but give me a break. He needs to stop giving a rat a** what Coral thinks about him. That was really sweet though what he did for Valentines day. (Why did one of my sorors say he was going to hook up with Coral,thats funny!)

Rachael: This girl is not as innocent as she tries to be, but has been sheltered. She's cute she reminds me of Tinkerbell.

Nicole: Way to much makeup!!! But so far she seems to be one of the coolest.

Malik: The afro does need some taming. He's mellow I don't see much conflict out of him this show.

Yes, I've been saying that Coral is a bia bia! She's the worst! W/ this last episode, she was just as wrong as he was b/c she was sitting there talking about them girls too. And I thought he said that he just knew this girl from his school and that they weren't friends per se. I got the impression they were like good acquaintances or something. Anyway, I have known guys like Mike and I just don't pay them any mind. I can see that he's not trying to be offense on purpose. I mean, didn't he say he started to feel bad about what he said (or did someone else in the house say that? I forget). Anyway, he's just being a dude. Dudes have their lil names for chicks as I'm sure there are girls that have lil names for dudes. Who cares!? Coral was acting like he called HER those names! Whew! She does need a man, a life, a something!! And she was wrong for jumping all over Mike when he did the little V-day thing (which was very cute BTW). She laid it on WAY too thick. Ugh! Ok, moving on...

Lori is looking pretty desperate to me too. And it's weird cuz I didn't think she'd be like that at all. She's a gorgeous girl and she sings! So she's got some talent going for her. She should focus her attention on that and leave sorry azz Kevin alone! I mean, he's nice and he's OK looking, but he AIN'T all that and a bag of chips! Maybe just the chips, but that's it! lol!

Rachel sorta urks me for some reason. I don't know why or what it is about her. Maybe it's b/c it seems like she's trying to play the innocent role and she's not....I don't know. Last thing...did anyone feel bad for Mike at the end of this last episode? I felt so bad for him....he said he's lonely!!! AWWWWWW! Why didn't Kev and Malik take him upstate w/ them??? Did they not invite him or did he not wanna go?? Does anyone know?

I really really hate Coral. It is getting on my nerves the way she treats Mike. I can't wait until Nicole breaks her down.

Coral - What is wrong with her? What right did she have to tell Mike's guests about his comments? Coral was just wrong, wrong, wrong. And why did Coral and the other women feel that they were justified in being rude to Mike's guests, just because Mike made disparaging comments about his visitors. Of course, Mike didn't stand a chance when he confronted Coral during the meeting -- he made it so easy for Coral to chew him up and spit him out (leaving nothing but his dried carcass). Mike needs to quit making such dumb remarks -- he gives Coral too much ammunition. Hopefully, one day soon Mike will stop caring what Ms. Coral thinks.

Lori - Apparently, she cannot be happy unless she gets the attention of a man. She is looking pretty pathetic.

Malik - He's cute, but I wish he would shape up that hair of his. He is starting to remind me of a troll doll.

Valentine's Day - It was very thoughtful of Mike to think of his housemates. Of course, Coral was just as phony as she wanted to be. It was pretty sad when Mike admitted to being lonely. I really wanted someone to invite him out. I know it was ladies night, but they could have hung out with him for a minute, brought him back home, tucked him in, and gone back out to get their party on.

You know what, I have been thinking... tsk tsk tsk

MTV has found yet another black jackass to represent for us on MTV... I heard a brother making the comment yesterday that "they [MTV] did a great job picking the cast because the black male they chose was [is] well-educated, well-spoken, and not a straight dog." MTV persists in promoting the Ideal American Innocence, the blond white female. And she's not so sweet actually. I swear there is something exceptionally plastic and un-real about that Real-Worlder. Rachel... yeah sweetie, you ain't foolin' noooobody

MTV persists in portraying our black community, and more specifically as of late our sisters, as idiots in some light or another. NOTICE ***on the casting special, Lori and Rachel, chosen because they were "sweet" and "cute" and "innocent"...
On other seasons, they [white women] were chosen for some of the same reasons. The reasoning, was most usually positive, and ran the gambit from innocent to intelligent.
Coral, was chosen because, well... basically she has a mouth on her. Y'all remember the other sistas on the casting special, maybe they were too dayuum nice and sweet... What happened to them? They didn't seem to stand a chance.

Nicole seems to have gotten chosen b/c she and Malik were cool on the casting special, and you know they needed a girl from the hood ANYway. Never hurts to see a sista going off right? Right!! So let's get ol' Nicole, she's from the ghetto, but she goes to what? To college?? Noooo wayyy!!! WOW!!! What an OXYmoron. That can't be, let's put her on the show too. Maybe she and Malik, our token good-black-guy-who's-educated-and-kinda-nice-and-cute-but-we-only-put-him-on-here-because-our-viewers-complained-about-seeing-too-many-black-males-with-major-ego-complexes will kindle a flame and then maybe some more drama.

When MTV wants action, they look for ethnicity. Ellen [along with our other examples], Jisela, and Sophia on RRules... were all women with some range of controversy, all ethnic, all placed on the show where they can be voted off... RRules has lower ratings than RW, they had to do something to bump them dayum viewer scores up.

But hey, who cares, it's TV, Right!!!??!! It's all about the dollar!!! I say MTV is a wonderful station that has a great way of keeping it real!!! We ARE all confrontational, lazy, assuming, loud-mouthed, educationally challenged, socially challenged, overly offended, insecure, drama kings and queens CORRECT!!!????

It just seems that there is an overwhelming effort to maintain the innocence of the white female... i.e. Rachel (the freak/virgin) and Lori (the-I-just-wanted-to-screw-Kevin-but-now-I-feel-like-NOTHING-because-he-won't-screw-me-and-I-base-my-self-worth-on-whether-or-not-a-man-wants-to-screw-me-back-and-hence-I-am-a-vic tim-please-save-me)... MTV could harp on those two a little bit, but maybe later. Maybe I am jumping the noose. It just feels like another season of look at how the black folks act, and looks how sweet our white girls are, and look at how the white guys are just nice good ol' All American men!!! Wow, this is how the world REALLY is.

Maybe I am reading too much into it... I dunno, but it's all fishy as heck.

OK..about Coral. Well, she needs to bring it down a few notches. She is the stereotypical "angry black woman" on the show. This last episode, true, Mike was wrong for calling the women "some panty-dropping freaks," but nonetheless, she didn't have to be rude to them. I understand she was trying to call Mike out, and perhaps he needed it. But how would she have felt if the situation had been reversed? If he had come out his face to her guests based on something she had said about them, she would have hit the fan! She would not have hesitated to go off!

Mike needs to make friends and just leave his housemates alone. The housemates don't respect him and everyone is basically following Coral's lead.

Soror I do remember Cyrus and his fish face, girl he made me sick!! I know Soror Kamelaah (sp?) was like give me a break already. I mean I remember the guy from Frisco and his girlfriend but they hardly ever showed him.

I tried to keep silent, but I have to state my "little opinion".

Yes, Coral needs to lay off...I guess we have established that fact, but she is sooooo rude. She makes herself look ridiculous. I am sure that Mike can be a little annoying, especially since he is not as "worldly" as some of them appear to be. He seems to try to bond and understand the others, but they are not doing the same(I thought his elephant joke was kinda cute http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif. Coral seems to be the ring leader and everyone follows her lead. He isn't that bright, but that's no reason to treat him like crap. She is looking for anything and everything to put him down!

Malik, I'm sure will dissappoint many, but remember he expressed interest in Nicole too! Not trying to offend anyone, but remember he graduated from Berkley. Things are different there. If he is biracial, then he accepts both. I too, come from one black and one white parent...my husband is black, but that is my preference. Let's wait and see what next week's episode brings before we hang him out to dry.

I agree with whoever said that Malik's afro doesn't mean he will only date black girls. I never knew an afro meant that you wouldn't date a white girl. Besides from the clip I saw it seemed as though the girl was trying to pick him up, not the other way around. I think Nicole is just mad because she's attracted to Malik, (remember to comment " I got it at home")

I think it's really funny how when they showed Nicole in her PJ's she was in FULL make-up.......I was like NEGRO PLUHEZZZZZE!!

I think Coral is really showing how much of a child she is. Soober or later we all hav to realize that the sun doesn't rise and set around us. She hasn't come to grips with that fact,

On the same token this is a learning and growing experience for Mike too. He's used to folks loving him but the world doesn't work like that all the time.

I do think that they should lay off of him, they're making him miserable on purpose.

Coral - I don't know how much more of her I can stomach this season. Coral seems to have major control issues and a very mean spirit.

Mike - It seems like he can be a pain in the behind, but I don't think it warrants him being ridiculed, disrespected, and alienated.

Rachel - I can't believe she too is dogging Mike. And did she make derogatory comments about Mike during HER job interview -- How unprofessional and uncool was that?.

Arista - It's so ironic AND funny, how most of the house would not go to the rock venues with Mike, and now it's part of their job. Oh, how I laughed!!! And then MTV puts Mike and Coral at the same desk.

Coral and Nicole - Is it me, or could you really see the displeasure on their faces during the Arista briefing? Could they make it any more apparent that they were not feeling their job assignment. I guess they thought they would be working with Babyface. LOL!!! I mean, I am not really a hard rock aficianado (although I do have a few favorites http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif, but this was their FIRST day -- What happened to putting your best foot forward and showing some enthusiasm?

Nicole - I could not believe she state during her interview that she was closed minded when it came to music! I don't know about anyone else, but if I lived in the heart of the ghetto (as she stated) and had tales of "ghetto roosters" (hooty hoo, hooty hoo) and roaches, I think I would want to take this opportunity to shine because the gig at Arista could potentially be a way out.

Lori - She doesn't like the genre of music either, but I bet she will milk this for all its worth.

Mike is a little dorky, but he does try. Everybody needs to get off his back.

2) Suck it up! Be grateful that you have such a cool job! Stop complaining just because you have to work with rock bands! It's a nice opportunity to get your foot in the door if you're interested in the music business/industry. They're living in a phat house, rent free and have a cool job that most people would give their right arm for. Ugh. Stop the madness!

I have been watching RW10 and I'm LMBAGPPLGCPBWLAPAAO (Figure that one out). Coral is a bit tough on Mike but I think she is the kind of person once her mind is mad up that is the end. LOOK the man did something sweet at Valentines Day and he still was treated bad. Now Nichole getting upset HEY I get upset when I am walking amoungst the Pyramids and see a Sister(attractive or not) with the other meat! But I cannot judge what happened and neither should any of us until we see the episode! Who know we may think Nicole is in the wrong when we are done

Personally I don't ever want to see Nicole without makeup. I imagine her just as a blank face. I know plenty of fair skin people that look fine without make-up, but Nicole doesn't seem to have any defining features. Can we say white paper plate???We will probably begin to see her without make-up as the season progresses the camera thing is still new to her. But I wish the camera man would catch her running to the bathroom in the mornings barefaced to apply that stuff. That would probably cause Nicole to want to fight.
Already I am siding with Kevin in the future fight. why? B/C Nicole put ther fingers in his face. That is totally disrespectful and she would be lucky if he didn't personally remove them.
As for the assignment.... at least they may get the chance to meet some of their favorite artist....oh well, suck it up kids!!!!!
