1969 was a great year for Delta:

Soror Frankie Freeman was serving as Delta's 14th National President, 1967-1971.

30th National Convention held in Baltimore, Maryland in August 1969.

LaDonna Harris, wife of Senator Fred Harris, became an honorary member of Delta Sigma Theta.

Delta gave birth to the following chapters: Zeta Kappa, Zeta Lambda, Zeta Mu, Zeta Nu, Zeta Xi, Zeta Omicron, Zeta Pi, Zeta Rho, Zeta Sigma ;), Zeta Tau, Zeta Upsilon, Zeta Phi, Zeta Chi (the chapter you helped charter), Zeta Psi, Zeta Omega, Eta Alpha and Eta Beta
