I read in the paper today that track star Marion Jones and her hubby/coach are separated and are filing for a divorce.

You know he was the guy who was accused of having some kind of illegal substance in his system during the Olympics. He denied the allegations, but was banned from the Olympics. After that, he retired.

Wow, that's news to me....they seemed to have a solid marriage (at least from what I read in a previous issue of Vogue)

Sometimes what looks like strength really isn't. I say that because it looked as if they were handling things so well during the Olympics....and it turns out that kind of pressure put a real strain on their marriage, or may have put increased tension on what may have been an already crumbling marriage. I'm sorry to hear of this.

Yeah she was but it wasn't officially announced that Vanessa was pregnant until recently-at least I didn't hear about it thru the media till last week.

Just following up on the recent news of Kobe's wedding...

I heard this past week that Kobe's new wife Vanessa Laine is pregnant!! Now if this is not true then I apologize, but if it is true, then I knew that there had to be a reason why they got married so soon.

I read in an article that Ike Turner is supposed to be coming out with a new album. Please don't let it be "Ike Turner's Greatest Hits".

Ike was on HOT97's (NYC Metro Area) Star and Bucwild Morning Show a few weeks ago. They played one of his songs and like how Rayzon said "LAWD HAMMERCY"-it was called Safe Sexin'or something to that point. I was dying-(lmao)

Ok here is a real stinker. The other day on the radio it finally came out about The Williams Family. The father has been abusing the mom for some time now and once fractured some ribs. I saw that one too!

Something about a white guitar??? I didn't watch the whole thing - it was too pitiful. He had like, a regular hair cut. I couldn't believe he was outta jail, much less on Joe Brown.

You know, I don't know if you guys watch "Change of Heart", but I also noticed that they sometimes use celebs. The guy from Moesha that played Countess Vaugn's boyfriend was up there with his girlfriend.

Rick James and Coolio???!!! Either Joe Brown is desperate for ratings or he is just using them for the entertainment. I would have loved to see ole drippy head Rick giving his testimony, and at the last ten minutes of the show he sings superfreak.......

Supposedly she is also three months pregnant http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/eek.gif! She put off the making of Anaconda 2 (thank the Lord because that movie was a flop) because she's expecting-and she's only been with Chris Judd for a couple of months!

DC3 Manager Starts New Label
Mathew Knowles, manager and executive producer of Destiny's Child, has just landed an 18-month record label deal with Columbia Records with distribution through Sony. First on the list of highly anticipated releases will be the Carmen Hip Hopera soundtrack, which will be in stores June 12th. The album will feature Destiny's Child's "Survivor" remix with Da Brat and their "Bootylicious" remix featuring Missy Elliott, as well as new songs from Beyoncé, Wyclef, Mos Def, Mekhi Phifer and Rah Digga. The second release to come off of the Music World Music label will be Destiny's Child's Christmas 2001. Also featured on the Destiny's Child Christmas album will be new Music World Music artist Solange Knowles.

Solange is Beyoncé's younger sister and is also a dancer for Destiny's Child. She is also the love interest in Lil' Bow Wow's video "Puppy Love" and will sing the theme song for the new animated Disney series "The Proud Family." Solange's new album, Solo Star, will be released on Music World Music either December 2001 or January 2002. Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Beyoncé Knowles will also release solo albums on the label. Chelsea, a former Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Texas in 1995 is also signed to Music World Music. Andre Rison To Marry Singer Lopes

ATLANTA (AP) - Former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Andre Rison told a radio station he'll be married next month to singer Lisa ``Left-Eye'' Lopes, who torched his $1.3 million mansion in 1994.

Rison made an impromptu visit Wednesday to hip-hop station WHTA-FM and announced that he and Lopes, part of the Grammy-winning trio TLC, would wed July 5 at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Thursday.

Rison, 34, who played last season for the Oakland Raiders, gave no other details on the station, known as Hot-97.5.

Lopes, 30, could not be reached for comment, but the botanical garden confirmed it has a July 5 reservation for a ``Lopes wedding,'' the newspaper said.

Lopes shared Rison's Alpharetta, Ga., home at the time she started a fire that destroyed the house following a fight. They broke up after that, but later got back together.
