If You Were Accused of Murder

Would you rather have Matlock and Perry Mason as your lawyer?

Perry Mason all the way.

WCUgirl 05-12-2004 03:16 PM

Matlock - totally. I have this thing for cute little old men. Besides, he kind of reminds me of my daddy.

smiley21 05-12-2004 03:18 PM

i was just watching Matlock.....but i would say neither

i would go with a lawyer from Law And Order, even though they were prosecuting attornies

wasnt Matlock a prosecuting attorney?? if so, then he could not be your lawyer if you were accused of murder

Matlock is a defense attorney.

Lady Pi Phi 05-12-2004 03:38 PM

Perry Mason.

He's tougher than MAtlock. I want a tough lawyer

greeklawgirl 05-12-2004 04:32 PM

Neither.

Bobby Donnell from "The Practice" all the way. :)

DeltAlum 05-12-2004 04:47 PM

Hey, you're supposed to choose one of the two named...

Perry Mason.

I did some work with Raymond Burr, and he's intimidating! More of a lawyer type.

AXO Alum 05-12-2004 10:19 PM

Perry - definitely! But it would have to be the old-days, black & white Perry. Wow - he was some kinda hot :D Yeah-Yeah, I know that girls weren't his thing -- but still!!

James 05-12-2004 10:28 PM

Johnny Cochran. When that man represents you, you are going HOME.

CatStarESP4 05-12-2004 10:49 PM

Definitely Perry Mason!

tinydancer 05-12-2004 10:51 PM

Perry Mason, without a doubt. I love those old shows. I'll wake up in the middle of the night to watch Perry Mason.

(yeah, I know, that is really sad:p )

AlethiaSi 05-12-2004 11:13 PM

could i have the guys from CSI: prove that i didn't do it before it even got to court? those people are damn smart and i love that show

lifesaver 05-13-2004 03:02 AM

Matlock! That dude is smart. I think it would be cool if he wore that powder blue suit he always wore too. AND when I walk in the courtroom I wanna hear that theme music playing, (I'm not gonna hum it here.. just imagine it and get it stuck in your mind).

Uhm, they're not lawyers. If you have been accused in court, more then likely the CSI guys will testify against you.

LOL. James, did you watch the Chris Rock special?

People say if you choose Johnny Cochran you look guilty...I don't give a...I'll look guilty at the mall! :p

Matlock, people always underestimated him. And he could always flip the script after the last commercial break.

swissmiss04 05-13-2004 10:36 AM

"What I need is a lawyer that has enough juice to get Ray Charles a driver's license."

dekeguy 05-13-2004 06:33 PM

Horace Rumpole. While the offered choices are fictional, Rumpole is carried on the official list of Barristers of the Inner Temple (one of the four Inns of Court that qualify and regulate Barristers) [not bad for one who is also a fictional character!]
I suspect that if one wanted one's solicitor to instruct Rumpole as one's barrister the brief would be submitted to John Mortimer, QC)

It's a simple question y'all.

It's one or the other.

I'm a pretty out of the box kinda person but nonconformity does have it's limits.

How about y'all answer the question with the choices given then give us your 'real' choice.

Tom Earp 05-13-2004 07:10 PM

lifesaver, that was not a powder blue sue, that was searsucker, little blue lines!

Matlock only way to go, he had cuter females in it! Della was Fantastic.

Give me home spun who acts silly but gets to the facts. He was funnier actually even when he could not seem like he knew what he was doing!:D

CSUSigEp 05-14-2004 03:20 AM

If I was accused of murder I wouldn't be worrying about attorneys, id duck to Mexico and drink Coronas on the beach!
