Star Jones fiancee Al Reynolds is a NUPE

I was flipping through the channels today and the View was on. They commented on how Star was wearing red and white today. She said that she was wearing it in tribute to her fiancee's fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi. Any other bruhs knew he was a Nupe?

Rio_Kohitsuji 05-11-2004 02:56 PM

I was about to post this on your forum! Congrats guys :D

Senusret I 05-11-2004 03:18 PM

That's funny....I JUST caught some Lambda Zeta Sorors (Star Jones' undergrad chapter) doing a "Diamonds and Pearls" stroll with some Kappas. After the shock wore off, I thought it was cute. I still had to remind her about George and Ethel, though. ;)

AKA2D '91 05-11-2004 07:19 PM

WE ALL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS...

:D LOL, yet  at "After the Shock..."

Senusret I 05-11-2004 07:36 PM

lol.....i had just NEVER seen anything like that before. Not a unity stroll of any kind. But yeah, it was cute....men throwing up mirrors and fixing their eyebrows is cute!

AKA2D '91 05-12-2004 08:20 AM

Pix of Star Jones and ol' Al Reynolds

http://www.nysocialdiary.com/partypi...StarJoness.jpg
Soror Star and Al at the American Cancer Society gala in New York. Seated are "Golden Girl" Rue McClanahan and some dude named Marty Richards. I don't know who he is.

1savvydiva 05-12-2004 07:51 PM

Okay, Al looks a bit "off" in that pic. Is that a recent pic? Star is losing weight well.

when i was on the yard, i think at one point in time all of the sororities and frats have lined together. probably because members were dating each other or what not.

Al looks off a lot of the time, IMO. :p
The pic was taken earlier this month.
And Soror Star is doing well with the weight loss.

Unity Strolls? GTFUOH

lol.....i had just NEVER seen anything like that before. Not a unity stroll of any kind. But yeah, it was cute....men throwing up mirrors and fixing their eyebrows is cute!

errrrrrrr.. that is NOOOOOT CUTE !!! lol

Unity strolls? This has got to be some y2k ish. I've seen the Alphas and AKA's do it in Alabama.. but that's it. I take that back.. some Pearls up at Fayetteville State tried to jump in line with the Bruhs during Atomic Dawg at the East Coast Step Show back in '99 and the State of Alabama Bruhs gave them the WALTER PAYTON STIFFARM !!

I guessed that the Bruhs up that-a-way allow that stuff. Man, things are soooooo Regional now.

AKA2D '91 05-20-2004 08:18 AM

Actually, when I was an UG, we had a strut/stroll whatever you want to call it with the Alphas. It wasn't anything intricate as the struts I've seen local Sorors and Alphas do now, but we did it. This was in 1992.

I don't think I've seen sorors with any other fraternity participating, but from this thread, I see sorors were doing a lil summin summin with the Kappas.

You not right at all!

sphinxpoet 05-27-2004 04:00 PM

Here in the Pyramids it is a rare day to see a Diamonds and Pearls stroll! But it happens but 99% of the time it is either Sigma/Zeta, Alpha/AKA or Delta/Que doing strolls together. Put some atomic dog on and watch those Colemans go!

djjukebox 05-28-2004 06:20 AM

what tha?

frat2b 06-09-2004 10:21 PM

There is also a terrible rumor that has truth to it that Star Jones' man Al had relations with MEN. So I wouldn't be so quick to say congrats if I were U!

He's not a Kappa Man to be proud of!

Well, it's just a rumor (or maybe not). But, just because a member of your organization is gay does not make them less of a member. He's apparently achieved a great deal professionally, and that alone is worthy of a congrats.

Good point. And I also wonder what it is that gives people who may not be members of an organization pause to make value judgments about those who are. What in the flip ever happened to discretion?

Neither is your username, but ain't nobody say nothin' about that.

Anyway, I've strolled with bruhs before, on two different occasions. One from Chi-town and one from Alabama. Funny, we did the same stroll. It's one of my favorites. :D

Wait... are you in the frat or are you TRYING to get in? I couldn't give a flying f if that man was screwing sheep, crickets, trees, or whatever else, if he's been through somewhat of the same process as I have as an undergrad, I'm grip him up like a bruh. He betta not touch my ass though. Then I'd have to beat him down. :D

Atlas 10-14-2004 02:00 PM

I was told that AL was NOT a man of KAPsi, but that Kwame Jackon of Apprentice fame is.

AKA2D '91 10-18-2004 07:52 AM

I guess if he isn't, he has lied to Star. On their wedding website, this (He is a member of ___ fraternity)is a question and Kappa Alpha Psi is the answer. :o
