I apologize in advance if there have been other threads about this, but I didn't see any at least a few pages in.


I was just wondering what some of your chapter websites looked like if ya had one? I'm just trying to get ideas of things to add to our site. :D ECU KD

There actually was a thread about this before somewhere but I don't know what happened to it.

This is for the Gamma Theta chapter of Sigma Kappa at Cal State Long Beach.

Right now our chapter website sucks: beta.unl.edu but we're in the process of design and development of a new website (done by my pledge son!) you can check some of the progress at amphion.unl.edu, and eventually it should roll out to beta.unl.edu by the end of the summer.

One of my pledge brothers and i just recently updated our site at http://www.unl.edu/ato. Hopefully it helps you out with a few ideas.

I don't actually know html though so I couldn't make a super cool site. One of these days I'll get around to learning.

How 'bout Alum. Association websites? Ours is here. We just designed it...so there's still some things we need to add. But I think it looks great!

It's a start though. Graphics are generally the hardest part of some groups. All you need is someone to put all the graphics into photoshop and create slices and HTML out of the program.

Yup Corsulian, I've got a link to yours on my site, had it a little while. I like yours. It described interest groups very well.

I remember visiting DeltaSigStan's a year or two back, quite well. Got ideas for stuff from it - I think it was hosted on Bravenet back then and had flash colored buttons for a nav menu?

chideltjen, yes yours is good and looks professional. Secretly, I'd wondered what your work was like since you said in the past on here you designed websites; so it was nice to see. :)

sthpolrd, v. promising also (btw, the link in your post has a period at the end so visitors have to take that out or it re-directs to an error page).

It's not very visually appealing, but it gets the job done:

I am the "webmistress" for my chapter, I created the website last year as a gift to the chapter and now I continue to be the update person since nobody is as technology friendly as I am!
