It is pretty cool. You can "meet" people through your friends and their friends and their friends......you get the picture. I already noticed there were already a bunch of Deephers on it.


You can post pics and also look up people based on common interests, schools and GLO's.

i've recently got turned on to friendster.

however i like facebook better.
and ive seen many dphie's on there as well.
theyre a bit elitist in the sense that only select schools are on that site. but theyre adding more recently.

Hey all

I use Mixednutz.net and love it. It was created by a friend of mine from undergrad and he is trying to combind the features of friendster, classmates.com, yahoo personals, livejournal, etc. Its like an all in one site. You should check it out. Its growing day by day. My username is stefanie.

I used friendster till the site started running slow. :(

myspace.com is really cool. and they have greek groups and i know a lot of AZDs and Sigma Nus are on there. Yay!

OMG Facebook is the best thing ever! (And the worst! I spend all my time playing on it!) The site just added a TON of new schools (including Furman) and it has infected my campus. Friends of mine have spent hours on it, as have I.

Hello Laura, another Facebook addict over here. In such a pissy mood right now, Facebook is down. :(

They don't have Facebook for my school...yet. I emailed them and asked them to us on there, though! I have a bunch of friend who are on there and they spend HOURS on it. I haven't used friendster or anything else like that, but I'm on classmates.com.

That may or may not be such a bad thing.;)

I had Friendster like more than a year ago, it was kind of cool. But then MySpace came out...I signed on in January....and its pretty sick...like its kindof addicting, but unlike friendster and FACEBOOK....theres actually STUFF to do.

I signed onto facebook like a month or two ago,....and its cool, but it's just like friendster...except for schools...i mean its soooooo restricting....haha i ust keep it cuz theres some people I have on there that arent on myspace...but whatever.

I hadn't checked my myspace site in like 3 months. I went on the other day and had a bunch of messages from some actives from my org up in New Paltz. I am going to start checking back there much more frequently. It doesn't seem like too many people log into friendster that much anymore anyways.
