Just curious...does anyone give zodiac sign compatibility any thought or do you just think its a crock of isht. Do you let it determine your relationships with signficiant others?

I am a Pisces, and I do think my sign says a lot about my personality and who I am. In the past, I have dated guys who were never of compatible signs; now I am with a guy who happens to be a Cancer, a very compatible sign. It was never a concious thing...it just happened that way.

Personally, I don't think Zodiac signs should dictate with whom you have a relationship. I am sure that there are a lot of people that are together who are and are not astrologically compatible. For me, it happens to be working.

I don't let the Zodiac (both American and Chinese) dictate my relationships and I really don't pay much attention to horoscopes.

But...I can't help but raise an eyebrow when I find out that a "potential" is a Leo. I'm a Leo. Two Leos are a bad thing. I should know. I'm 0-3.

I don't really believe it, but sometimes I hear the descriptions and think "wow, what an uncanny coincidence!"

I have had somewhat bad luck with Leos and Cancers, but I don't think I've dated enough of them to form an opinion that they are categorically bad for me. Better luck with Sagitarrius and Capricorn.

I'm a gemini and I've always had a connection with fellow gemini's somehow, particulary people born the same week as me. My current boyfriend is exactly four days older than me and my most serious ex was 2 days and 2 years older. Kinda strange.

I used to not believe in astrology.

However, my girlfriend tells me that she read somewhere that Geminis enjoy receiving oral sex.

Now I don't know what to think.

I don't think geminis enjoy receiving oral sex - I think men do. No actually, I think everyone does!!! :)

Don't place much stock in it myself.

It's probably hard to tell here as there are more females than males on GC but wonder how many more chycks place stock in this than guys?

I don't believe it. I'm allegedly a cancer but do not in any way shape or form resemble the "typical" traits of a cancer. I definitely think girls believe in it more than guys.

Yeah I never really thought about it before until a friend and I were once talking about it..

all of my boyfriends that I have seriously liked (four) have all been born within about a week or so of each other... all Leos. All four of which I am still good friends with..

a couple of other guys here and there.. were very bad matches or ended really bad.


I wont ever take this into consideration, but I find it odd.

I don't take much stock in it in terms of relationships, but I do think that I'm very much a scorpio. Now I'm also dating a scorpio (the second one) so we'll see how that goes. We have the passion part down well......

I am a Sagittarius and I have dated many a Scorpio, which is a bad choice for me (and it was) but the man I love is a Pisces, which makes it a dificult relationship.... but worth it.

Geminis are almost always compatible with other Geminis. I don't let it dictate who I date, but when you read the compatability reports for Geminis and Sagittarians, it fits Mr. Bunny and me to a T. I am without a doubt a Gemini through and through and occasionally will find something interesting in my horoscope, but I don't believe it most of the time. If I did, I would be hiding under the bed from life :)

i'm a cancer- through and through- i'm pretty much textbook definition of it... i forget what my exact matches are- but i get along great with leo's (2 of my best friends are leo's) and gemini's and scorpio's .... capricorns i kind of do... but we always have problems with one another... i do NOT get along with aries... at all...... they are too damn stubborn for my taste ;)

I'm a typical Cancer and boyfriend is a typical Sagittarius, it's a GREAT match! When I dated a Scorpio.....well..let's say it didn't go well. ;)

Do some of you think (the ones who don't believe in horoscopes, like me) that horoscopes become self-fulfilling prophecies? Like "Oh, I'm a _________. I should ______." Or if a relationship doesn't work out it's, "Well, he was a _______ and I'm not compatible w/ them." Nevermind that he may have been a cheater, a dumbass, or just not your type...

I believe in horoscopes to the point that they define certain things about our personalities and obviously certain personalities work better together than others. I would never use someone's sign as an excuse for their behaviour. So if a relationship doesnt work out for whatever reason I don't blame it on the signs, even though it may help to explain why the two of you were not compatiable to a certain extent.

I think you also need to take this stuff with a grain of salt. For instance, I'm a Cancer and I dated a Sagittarius and that relationship was just bad for the most part. I found out later that Cancers and Sagittarius' are bad matches. Obviously this is not true across the board since it has worked for others like Rio_Kohitsuji. It just depends on what you can put up with.

Keep in mind that your Rising sign as well as your moon sign are vitally important to assess for compatiblity.

Your rising sign dictates your personality.

And then where your planets are placed is also a factor.

I'll buy it. I also believe in a lot of other paranormal/odd stuff, because it's really interesting. That's supposedly one characteristic of Scorpios, and I'm such a Scorpio it isn't funny. The jury's still out on horoscopes, though, and I'm still not sure about your signs determining how a relationship will work out since there's so many other factors involved. I have never dated anyone who was supposedly a "good" match (I think Taurus, Cancer, or Capricorn are generally supposed to be the most compatible ones for me), but I have dated an Aries, which is supposedly the absolute worst match for a Scorpio ever and it was a complete disaster. We just did not mesh well, at all. I didn't realize we weren't supposed to be compatible until a long time after, though, but it explains a lot. :p

as others have said, i believe in astrological compatibility to a point. my parents were capricorn and gemini, and they're divorced. since i'm a capricorn like my mother, she used to warn me about geminis being two-faced. my first bf was a gemini and it did not work because he had two sides. my second bf was a taurus and we seemed to work well together. we broke up for reasons out of our control. and my last bf was an aquarius, which apparently can go either way. and it went the bad way... oh well.

but all in all, i use it as a helpful source of information. would i not date a man because he was incompatible with me, prolly not. but would i keep sensors on and tread very slowly, yes.

I such a typical virgo! However, they always say I should be with a Taurus, I don't think I have ever dated one! For some reason I am always drawn to sagitarius' (sp?) they were my longest relationships.
I have dated geminis, but i can't deal with them. they aren't structured enough for a virgo like me!
I have also dated a scorpio- not a good mix at all!!!

i don't actually believe in all this astrology stuff, but sometimes there is a little truth involved in it!

i definitely think there's something to them.........my sister has this GREAT love-signs book, and looking back through past relationships, it totally related.....but who knows for sure.

I don't live or die by my horoscope (in fact, I don't check it often), but I do believe that I fit the description of a Gemini - perfectly.

However, my husband is also a Gemini....he is born on the cusp of being a Taurus, and while I will sometimes see a Gemini trait or two in him (although rarely), he's definitely not incompatible with me. He definitely isn't a Taurus either. He's just.....there. :)

i'm a leo. I have heard I get along great with Sagitarius' and whatnot but I always end up clashing with them. I have had a few capricorn relationships and those don't last long.

And my last bf was a sag/scorpio mix (born on the cut off day)... that relationship was a mess.

i tend to get along with guys that are cancers. i know a lot of them.

As for believing in the horoscope thing, I have no idea even what signs are supposed to be compatible to Cancer, so I don't know if I believe in it or not. I am definitely a textbook Cancer, though.

Now if only we had a cute name instead of Cancer!!!

Cancer goes well with Scorpio, Pisces, Taurus, and Virgo.

I must be a P.I.M.P then because I am a TRUE Sagittarius!! I am dating a Sagittaurius too and its very challenging. Esp. since its long distance and all, but I tell you that man gets on my nerves so bad sometimes. I love him though.

As a Sag, I am compatible with Aries, Aquarius, Leo, and Libra. Complex Feelings are Gemini and Sagittarius.

Anyway, I believe in the signs only to an extent. I cant date a Cancer or Virgo or Scorpio because they cant take my bluntness or tactlessness (young Sag here, 22), so I steer clear.

However, I love to argue with an Aries because they make it FUN! Go figure that!

I'm A Leo. While I'll read the Horoscope for Entertainment , I don't let it determine what type of relationship I should be in.

I am a Taurus. I don't know anything about how the signs supposedly "work together". All I know is that by some stroke of bizare chance... ever guy I have EVER dated has been a Leo.

I'm an Aries..married to a Cancer! It proves that life is interesting at times.
