Don't make me put your lil butt across my knee! You know you should not talk to your elders like that!!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif
I love the Jags, and you know this, so don't trip. It has been a long time since Grambling has whupped up on us, but if you say so... Seems you need to recognize lil girl! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/tongue.gif You guys may have been 2000 SWAC champs, but you really, really LOST the BC to Southern in Y2K! SU SSSSSSU! (Sing it, Chant it, because I'm sure you know how it goes) http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif So, anyway, is there going to be a GC get together or something? Is your sister going to the Classic? I would absolutely LOVE to see you guys! And trust me, I do remember your lil butt rolling your eyes and neck, you were such a bad kid. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/tongue.gif ------------------ Smooches [This message has been edited by Skeelicious1 (edited August 01, 2001).] |

I doubt if they are going to the game. They complain that they have to work and the kids have school, then the drive BACK to H-town. I don't worry about them, they are too old for me, it's sickening! ugggggggggghhhhhhh |
Good one. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif
Hopefully I will see you there. Try talking your sister into going. ------------------ Smooches |
I'm already here. Southern gone spank that booty!! The best time I ever had at Classic was when we had a suite- it was off the heezy. That would be sooo cool if GC could have a suite.
|
Quote:
Ya'll can get a SUITE if ya wanna, but this here sista has her own suite. My OWN personal dwelling, where I pay rent every single month. LOL. Don't think So! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif |
I am planning on going. This is going to be my first time going. But I will be 20 by the time the classic comes. Is there any under 21 things that are good to go to.

Girl, um um um (LMAO) I started "hanging" for BC when I was 16. Then throughout ALL of my college (undergrad and grad) days, (17-23). I don't do that too much anymore, you know, I'm much older now. If I have visitors, you know I have to let them experience THE EXPERIENCE. I mean, one of my classmates had to stop "hanging" because she started seeing her students (10th, 11th and 12th graders). http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/eek.gif EEKA EEKA She had to take it "up" a couple of notches, so she wouldn't see them where she hung out. This same thing happened to me last year, I had some out of town guests with me. I didn't teach the students, but they knew me from my school and was like....uh-oh Ms. AKA2D, What's that in your glass? WTF? What are you doing out here? LOL I said all that to say, you won't have any problems getting into something. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif |

That is soo funny. i remember the first time I saw one of my teachers outside of the classroom (I think it was at the grocery store or something) i almost lost it. I was looking all in her basket like, what could she possibly eat. When she went outside and lit a cigarette, I thought I'd die. I couldn't wait to get back to school and tell all my friends I saw my teacher smoking a cigarette. Teachers don't exist outside the classroom. |
BC Next Weekend!!!
Is everyone ready for the CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!
|
This is the first time in 7 years I am not staying in New Orleans , I'm just going to the game and thats it! I gotta see S.U. put that whipping on Grambling!
|
I was actually the last person to reply to this last year, so I will be the first to reply this year. The State Farm Bayou Classic is November 29, 2003 this year in New Orleans. Will anyone be attending? This is my 8th in a row, and hopefully the outcome of this years game will be the opposite of last year.
At any rate is there anyone who has information about whats going on in New Orleans that weekend, other than the Battle of the Bands? |
I'll be there!! I'm gonna party like I'm 18! (it's my B-Day weekend):D :D
|
You never know what is going on down here until the week before or the weekend of the Classic. The most consistant and definite (as well as one of the safest) thing that I can name is Soul II Soul @ the H.O.B. on that Thursday. As far as anything else, I'll try to keep you all posted as I hear it.
There's always the Quarter which is a poor man's paradise.... FREE!!! (Y'all know that places like to jack up the prices when folks are in town!) |
i'm looking forward to my first Bayou Classic. i'm just waiting on my game/battle/stepshow tix:D
|
I'm coming.....I'm coming!!! :D :D :D
This is my first Classic and I'm too excited! :p I can't wait! I'll be putting it down just like this ---> http://www.plauder-smilies.de/party/ylsuper.gif In the words of Q-Deezy Uh YEA YEA!! |
So far....
Scarface in Concert at the Radisson. |

AKA2D’91 maybe ya’ll should forfeit the game this year…smile.
After witnessing the GSU/JSU game on Saturday maybe ya'll should rethink playing us?!? I still love you though;)
|
PLEASE!
I may have 8 premium tickets to sell! Don't count us out: Alcorn hasn't beaten us in 4 years until this past September. The last time they did, we won the BC. Soooooooooo, hopefully, history will repeat itself. JUST MAKE SURE NONE of the players had their transcripts created or changed. If so, ya'll are gonna have to forfeit! :p I mean even wayyyyyyyyyy back in the day! ;) :p ETA: Don't mention the game Saturday! I WAS THERE SAW THAT MESS LIVE IN LIVING COLOR!?!!?!? SASAS! Did they show Doug on the sidelines? |
I'll be there. My bruhs out here in Colorado have been going the last 2 or 3 years. This will be my first time going because I just crossed SP04. I heard it's gonna be CRAZY! I can't wait, I mainly want to see the Greek Show and the battle of the bands. I really could care less who wins the game, it's gonna be a good game and that's all that matters to me... although, one of my frat that's in grad school here and his two lb's who are down in the Springs will be rooting for Southern since that's where they are from.
|
I'll be there. It's been awhile since I've done the WHOLE weekend but we are going to change that this year. I can't wait for the stepshow and the Battle of the Bands! I didn't go last year and now I feel like I am going through withdrawl. I think Southern is going to give Grambling their issue in the game...
|
I'm not sure about the game itself, but I will definitely try to make it to the Greek Show/Battle of the Bands. My Frat from the Mighty Death Rho Chapter at SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY will be representing SU at the Greek Show this year.

they showed a snippet of the winning step teams on NBC during the game's telecast. i was so excited for our sorors. i hope to go back to the Classic. it was a lot of fun:D
so our sorors won the Bayou, Indy and Ohio Classic Stepshows (my team won the last two) this year...who says AKAs can't step?:p |
Quote:
Did any teams from Grambling step at the Ohio Classic? |
This was my first time going and I thought it was a good show. I was happy for the AKA's that won, they did their thing for real. I was a little dissappointed that my frat didn't come in first though, IMO we were the best. :D
