B.E.T's Spring Bling..
 

Any one watching?

I was turning through the channels and saw that BET's Spring Bling was on and Trina was performing, then Trina turned around. Let's just say she and her dancers mooned me :eek:.

I know it's hot were they are, but dang, you cannot just run around naked.

What kind of budget does BET have... their programming seems so local access:(

BET doesn't have that....instead of Spring Bling...
it need to be Spring Cheap....Spring No Dinero....Spring BROKE...

It was okay. But why did BET air Spring Bling late this year. I remember them airing at the beginnin of April. But why late?

Spring Bling SUCKS!! There is NO other way to put it. The performances ALL sucked, and yes Ms. Trina did show the world her gooders. SMH, SMH at BET.

i was going to go, but i had to work. ended going to this bunk stepshow that night where NO greeks showed up. well...this one chick who looked like fat man scoop and had the nerve to have a belt that said "diva" on it was there.

I have stopped watching BET or what I like to call "Blacks Gone Wild." This network has yet to produce quality programming for the African American household. I use to watch Tavis, the News and Midnight Love, but this stuff on there now is low budget and beneath what we are capable to producing. We need to pray for the people creating these programs and the Black folks that are allowing themselves to look stupid. :(

Very true..I'm thinking that the majority of viewers must be teenagers and college age folks....

Yeah was I shocked to see such whack programming on BET... NO! Was I shocked to see Trina showing her breakfast,lunch,and dinner to all of the BET viewers n showing off her old stripper moves.. NO!. Was I shocked that the people judging "Revamped" really have no business telling anyone that they have no talent and that they are whack...NO! Come on now people.. can you really expect much from a network that shows videos called " What dat thang smell like" ... lol... its all about making money and not showing quality television.

Ditto on that. I used to watch all of the news programs, and Teen Summit. I also watched the comedy show until all they started talking about was sex:rolleyes:

i can't comment on that at all....

The hot mess that BET shows is the VERY reason why we have a NO VIDEOS policy at my night job and filters on the computers that the kids use on my day job!! I had to bust a couple of kids last night for trying to watch "BET Uncut" when they should have been in bed!!

I stopped watching BET (Bootie Entertainment Network) a long time ago. It is the epitome of bad taste and black self-degradation.

I remember when we first got cable around fifteen or so years ago (we were late getting it up north). I used to love watching BET. You had Video Soul with Donnie Simpson, Teen Summit, Black College Football (still an attraction) and episodes of old black sitcoms.

Hopefully, TV One won't follow the path that BET has chosen to set.

I'm rofl @ looking "local access." everything about BET is low budget... I knew it was over when I was watching ComicView last week and J. Anthony Brown called a man from the audience up on stage, sat him down on a stool.

Brings a belly dancer out, dressed in the little belly dancer outfit, and Brown told her to "work this man".. she proceeded to do so for a good 3 minutes.

I was like... wtf.... :confused:... why did I just turn the tv off.

the only thing worth playing on BET is GAME OVER... cause it really is. :(

But see that won't happen, the mass boycott portion.

To Kids nowadays this is their norm. They don't remember way back when Tavis was on. When they used to play reruns of "Generations". When they had a REAL Teen Summit. BET tried all sorts of shows back in the day. But instead of working them and establishing a strong audience they canned them to show more Videos.

106 and Park will never have a diverse and varied audience like Video Soul did. Public Enemy said 911 is joke way back in the day.

BET doesn't even have a punchline now.

They use to tackle REAL issues(obesity, education, racism). I remember when Lisa Smith, Ananda and Belma Johnson(sp??) were the hosts. I actually sat in on a taping once. It was such a good atmosphere. Teen Summit became pure trash(ballers vs. scrubs...aren't we all scrubs in High Schools to some degree..that was the most useless show)...

Funny you should mention Belma. He went to USC, my alma mater, and is a bit older than me. His brother and I were friendly and worked together on the Daily Trojan.

I have not watched BET Uncut since I left undergrad but it was sure playin hard when me and friends were up studying late;) :D
