Calling out someone elses name

what would you do if during sex your husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend calls out someone elses name besides yours?

i would kick her to the curb

To get round it, recover from it; some very quick smooth talking is needed.

My exhusband & current fiance's names are just close enough that there have been some close calls!

But I have to mention that I know one real player who referred to every woman he dated as "Luv". I still tease him when I hear him call his wife "Luv"! You gotta admire his cleverness with it, though.

Punch her in her ear and pretend that was accidental too.

Just refrain from saying any name - then you can't screw it up :D

If you can just train yourself to call everyone "sweetie", you won't ever have a problem.

mshoole 04-28-2004 04:01 PM

I call everyone Hun or babe. Some people think I am not all there but I have yet to get into trouble with names. Example: "Hmmm, what is that girls name I am suppose to have lunch with, oh i dont know she will be hun today."

aephi alum 04-28-2004 06:26 PM

He'd be in BIG trouble.

I'd probably call out someone else's name myself to get back at him... maybe a girl's name... hehehe :D

We were just talking and arguing about something, but my ex called me HIS ex's name. They were together after me and him. Believe me I got pretty pissed, kicked him out of my house, after I slapped him.

valkyrie 04-28-2004 09:31 PM

LOL, I didn't know people actually called out names during sex. Don't people say "Oh my God!" any more?

MTSUGURL 04-28-2004 10:45 PM

never called names just for that reason....

One of my friends dated nothing but davids, daves, and davies... not intentional, but guess it saved her the trouble.

ASTLuv21 04-29-2004 01:29 AM

Don't have this problem because my ex's name is the same as my bf's! I have a thing for Brian's

alphagambaby 04-29-2004 05:30 AM

I did this ---twice--- and it was a terrible situation. The two names sound nothing alike, but I had just come out of over 2 years with one and then quickly moved into a relationship with the other. That was the only excuse I could come up with. It was a total accident though. I wasn't even thinking of the other name; it just sort of slipped out I guess. I honestly thought I was going to die, just because it hurt the other guy so bad. And I hate to hurt people that I love :(

YES.

I don't think I'd kick him to the curb if he accidentally called me another girl's name, if and only if he apologized profusely for it and really felt bad. Then I'd make him suffer and have blue balls and I wouldn't have sex with him to make him pay.

On the other hand...if he pulled a "I, Ross, take you, Rachel..." then yes...he would not only be out to the curb, but he'd get ripped a new one.

swissmiss04 04-29-2004 09:53 AM

I would just hope it's because he's having such a great time he can't even think straight. But then again maybe he's just a cheating bastard.

XOMichelle 04-29-2004 11:01 AM

I dated a guy named Dan and one named Dave right after. I never said Dan instead of Dave in intimate moments, but I called Dave, "Dan" a few times randomly. As far ad I know it never bothered him, but I was always really sorry.

I was just a little drunk once.. this guy and i were dating.. and a few months earlier I had broken up with my longtime ex boyfriend. Well that night I ended up calling him my exs name many times just in convo... ooppss.. yeah i was that drunk

"Oh my God" and "F**K ME" both work quite well, in my opinion. With a nice, "I love you so much" afterwards.

mshoole 05-01-2004 10:20 AM

Sheet Cake where have you been? I miss your little epic comments...

I do agree with Sheet Cake though..if its my finace who says another girls name there is gonna be a messy clean up of sheet cake on him.

FAB*SpiceySpice 05-02-2004 01:32 PM

So I kind of tried dating two guys at the same time last semester...needless to say it definitely didn't work. But one time I called one of them by the other's name and he was NOT happy, especially since he knew about this other guy though he thought we were dating anymore or anything...I apologized a lot though and he got over it. However, since then I have just started calling every guy baby instead and it saves me the trouble. ;)

DGqueen17 05-04-2004 12:56 PM

Ditto...you just call 'em all baby and they'll never know.

mshoole 05-04-2004 05:21 PM
