The official finals study break thread
 

Tomorrow is "dead day" (no classes) and finals start Wednesday, and I'm taking a break from my Music History III paper to start this thread. I thought we might all like a thread to vent our stress from finals. :D

I want this paper to be DONE!! Ahhhh!

I've got my hardest exam tommorrow. Stats. I'm scared. I've study for it all weekend. But I'm nervous about it. I've got to get a B to get a C in the class. Also, I don't have to repeat the course.

I have two exams next week. I will probably start studying...the night before :)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Why is it trying to wrap up a paper is the hardest dang part??? :confused: That's all I have left to do, and I just can't make it happen.

My school is wierd. We always begin our semesters later than everyone else, and end them earlier than any other school in the state. Tomorrow is actually our last day of finals. I have one test to go, and I've been studying for it since Thursday! Aaugh! I'm not completely finished moving out of the dorms either, and I have to be completely out by tomorrow evening! Oh, me... just another added stress!

I've got a major govt research and statistics project that we've been working on for a while now...and a few days ago my computer exploded along with all the stuff on there. That'll be fun to do again.

My worst final is tomorrow, and my grade depends on it. :( I'm terrified! But I have 2 12 packs of Diet Dr. Peppers to keep me going. :D

My Educational Psychology final is actually tomorrow, but I begged the teacher and she's letting me take it Monday instead. That takes a lot of the stress off!

I want to wish everyone the best of luck on his or her finals! Even though I don't have finals any more :D , (yes, I have to brag a little :p ) I remember finals like they were yesterday. In fact, I took my last exam not so long ago (in December to be exact).

Congrats on anyone who is graduating in May! I get my degree mailed to me in May because I had to take 2 classes at the Tech college nearby to finish out my major.

Music History III final is at 2:45 today...in exactly 3 hours...eeek. :(

The Music History one was rough. The true and false section (only a 6th of the test) had 178 questions! :eek: The rest of it wasn't as bad as I had expected though.

Educational Psychology is all I have left! :D

twas the night before finals...
 

Twas the night before finals,
And all through the college,
The students were praying
For last minute knowledge.

Most were quite sleepy,
But none touched their beds,
While visions of essays
Danced in their heads.

Out in the taverns,
A few were still drinking,
And hoping that liquor
Would loosen up their thinking.

In my own apartment,
I had been pacing,
And dreading exams
I soon would be facing.

My roommate was speechless,
His nose in his books,
And my comments to him
Drew unfriendly looks.

I drained all the coffee,
And brewed a new pot,
No longer caring
That my nerves were shot.

I stared at my notes,
But my thoughts were muddy,
My eyes went ablur,
I just couldn't study.

"Some pizza might help,"
I said with a shiver,
But each place I called
Refused to deliver.

I'd nearly concluded
That life was too cruel,
With futures depending
On grades had in school.

When all of a sudden,
Our door opened wide,
And Patron Saint Put It Off
Ambled inside.

His spirit was careless,
His manner was mellow,
He started to bellow:

"What kind of student
Would make such a fuss,
To toss back at teachers
What they tossed at us?"

"On Cliff Notes! On Crib Notes!
On last year's exams!
On Wingit and Slingit,
And last minute crams!"

His message delivered,
He vanished from sight,
But we heard him laughing
Outside in the night.

"Your teachers have pegged you,
So just do your best.

My first final is on Thursday....so ready for this semester to be over with!

I have two finals, one Thurs, one Friday. I really don't feel as if I need to study because one is a multiple choice exam on schizophrenia and sexual disorders and the other exam is an analytical essay exam consisting of 7 questions. Am I bad for not studying?

Girl, me too. Unfortunately sleep won't come soon...I've procrastinated ALL WEEKEND and I have my Educational Psychology final TOMORROW. Have not EVEN started studying. Fixing to go do that. *sigh* :(

Enjoy that feeling! We were talking at work the other day how we really miss that feeling. Once you're working, there is just no relief like being done with that last final of the semester!

2 finals on thursday and 1 final project to do. I'm mega stressed. I spent almost a full 24 hours on one project. :eek:
I'll be soooo happy Thursday even though summer school starts in a week and a half.

Genetics is kicking my arse!!!!

My only final this semester (I really liked living in the world of arts and humanities. I handed in final papers and I was done.)
But, I was just informed that I can use a notecard, yay!
To bad the final is cumulative, boo!

I just fit 3 pages of notes on 2 lines of a 3x5index card. I rock.


And I would just like to say how JEALOUS I am of you people who have reading week or whatever you call it. We don't have an offical exam period. So technically, my prof could lecture tomorrow and then give us an exam. And it has been done, oh yes, it has been done.

I have 3 more finals, 2 literature and my western civ final. Western civ is getting most of my attention since I have to do pretty well on it to get an A in the class.

Ugh I have 2 finals tomorrow (well today actually) in Math and Spanish. I need a 72 on the Math final to get a C. Thursday I have a Geology test that I need basically a 100 on to get a C in that class. Yea I'm doing well this semester. :rolleyes:

I hear that! It's been a rough year, not to mention semester. I have 2 down 2 to go. I have a calc final that i need a miracle passing in order to get a c in the class and a history final. I already took a history one and an Organic Chemistry one. That one kicked my ass! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *pulls out hair*

One down, one to go. Today's final took me all of 20 minutes. Tomorrow's definitely won't. :(

Two classes down, one left to go. I have my last final on May 11th.

I have finals to study for and what am I doing? Posting on greekchat and playing slingo on aol.

I'm burnt out from this semester!!!!! I'm sick of studying Biochemistry, I've been doing it all day.

My finals don't even start until the 14th :( I have one the 14th, 15th, and 17th, then graduation is the 22nd. 4 years flew by...

I finished my finals last week... now I'm just sitting and waiting for my final grades :eek:

I just got the worst final over the way! I have one more in an hour, then my Acting presentation and extra German work, aka the optional final. Woo! Done Tuesday, move out Thursday, and go to Kentucky next Friday!

Congrats to everyone who has graduated and finished finals already :D My last final begins tomorrow night at 6:30, and I should be done at 7:30. I think that calls for some celebration... :p

Oh man.. my first real final is tomorrow.. not excited :(
I'm at work until 12 tonight (EST).. studying my butt off for State and Local Governemnts final.

My brain is about to explode with government words.. "No Establishment Clause" .. "Professional Legislature" .. "Unicameral Legislature".. oh man :(

I'm trying to get the motivation.. but it is NOT working :(
