So what's up with random harmless threads and posts being deleted? I can't even keep up any more -- let me get this straight -- innocent fun is not acceptable but bloody eyeball pictures are?

True true. Supposedly one of my posts was so bad that someone contacted JOHN to delete it. :mad: You know who you arrrrrrre! *giving him the evil eye*

But honestly, I don't understand why people are so upset about this stuff to the point where they think it warrants deletion . . . this is the most fun I've had on GC in months.

Even though this may not be a meaningful post, I just wanted to voice my total agreement with these statements. That is all :)

I agree. If you don't like it, don't read it. I didn't find those recent posts funny, but they were harmless, and people were having fun.

If you have a problem with threads being deleted, the most productive thing to do is PM the moderators of whatever forum the thread was in and ask them why it was deleted.

dgfromtx , I don't think everybody's mad or anything-at least I'm not angry. "Miffed" may be a better word. Stuff like this has been going on for so long. Threads locked or deleted-simple posts disappear. Some is warranted of course. Others...well chalk it up to insecurity, self anointment or just plain "mean spirited". Sure, nothing that will shake the world, but irritating to different degrees, depending on the intent behind the action.

I'd ban all of you jackasses and then I'd come over to your places and drop a 2 on your furniture.
