Britney Spears 'Everytime' video

I don't know how long it's going to be up on AOL - so if the link doesn't work i apologize.

Check it out - it is a completely different video in terms of Britney Spears - but it works.

Everytime Video

Love her or hate her - her life must suck at times. I understand that the price of fame comes with the territory - there are always people stalking you, wanting your autograph, a piece of you, you can't always get the love and attention you want from the people around you.

I thought the video was great - I really like the grown up B Spears. What do you all think?

Oh - and is that Stephen Dorff in the video?! If so, he is lookin good!!

Rollergirl2001 04-16-2004 01:27 AM

I love that music video. It really shows a different kind of Britney Spears. There is a whole lot of difference between Britney in 2001 and in 2004.

CardinalSM 04-16-2004 02:36 AM

I had to stop that video, it made me sick to my stomach and just really bothered me. I think it was just too personal. I guess that is what they were going for but I just couldn't handle anymore of it.

GeoffZ 04-16-2004 02:45 AM

I like it too. "Everytime" is one of my favorites from the album. I agree that it's not your typical Britney video. I'm glad she took out the suicide concept. The accidental death/reincarnation idea is better. Yeah, that's Stephen Dorff playing her boyfriend.

SapphireSphinx9 04-16-2004 05:19 AM

Yep I agree... Good video! I got sick of her always dancing and throwing her hair around. She's definately letting herself show in this album.

Unregistered- 04-16-2004 05:22 AM

In my opinion, I can't stand the girl or her 'singing' and as far as I'm concerned, the song can go suck a big fat one.

Stephen Dorff is the only thing that redeems that video. That boy is H-O-T.

Jadey28 04-16-2004 06:23 PM

Definately not what I expected from Britney, but overall a good video. Stephen Dorff looks really hot! :D

AOII*Azra-elle 04-17-2004 03:30 AM

Still have mixed feelings on Britney...but right now the only reason I'd watch it is to drool a puddle on the floor over Stephen Dorff! :)

UKDaisy 04-17-2004 06:03 AM

This is such a personal video. I love it, it seriously makes me think.

sororitygirl2 04-17-2004 07:10 PM

Okay, I haven't seen the video and the link isn't working on my computer, but I am confused. I know she removed the bottle of pills and the O.D. from the video, but I was under the understanding that she is bleeding from the wrists as she slips underwater. So, how did she remove the suicide concept? Sounds like suicide to me...

And, yeah, even though I haven't seen it, I am sure Stephen Dorff looks amazing. Has anyone ever seen "Entropy"? He is so cute!

Oh, another comment - I think it's a good song. It makes me think of Britney and Justin, which reminds me of my first love - we were just too young and innocent to make things work.

When she's getting out of the limo and the photographers attack her she grabs her headm when the vase is thrown she turns away and glass is going everywhere. When she is in the bath tub she reaches back and touches her hands and thats where the blood is from.

;)

sororitygirl2 04-17-2004 07:28 PM

Oh, I get it - thanks for explaining. I will have to see it I guess!

DeeGeePrincess 04-17-2004 08:22 PM

I like the video...its good.

Compared to other videos it has a lil depth and meaning to it.
I totally think that the video has some truth to it...they could've picked a hotter guy tho! :)

GeoffZ 04-17-2004 09:43 PM

I thought the blood just came from when she gets hit on the head by the photographer. When the vase breaks it doesn't look like any of the shards hit her. Also when she's in the bath you can see some drops of blood behind her on the tub.

DeeGeePrincess 04-17-2004 11:29 PM

I'm still a lil confused about the ending.

is it supposed to be a dream or wishful thinking because she smiles and seems all happy at the end.

Jadey28 04-18-2004 11:38 AM

In the beginning, the "blood" dripping from her wrist makes you think she slit her wrist. However, at the end, you see that it is actually a piece of red string tied around her wrist. I believe it has something to do with her newfound religious faith. I can't think of what the religion is called, but it's what Madonna practices.

sororitygirl2 04-18-2004 02:35 PM

It's called Kabbalah - it is sort of ancient form of Judaism.

rayray 04-18-2004 03:51 PM

Ok i havent seen it on TV yet but i saw from the link that mullet81 posted, although i was that clear it seemed very intense.

Now i just need to see it on TV!!!!

USFSDTAlum 04-18-2004 04:01 PM

good video, stephen dorff's been freaky ever since he was all psychotic in cold creek manor.
Anyone else just waiting for the nipple shot in the last 5 seconds of the video? It was very close there for a split second.

mullet81 04-18-2004 04:08 PM

Has anyone else heard that she wrote this song after her break-up with Justin Timberlake?!

rayray 04-18-2004 04:53 PM

I think this song is totally for justin...

did ya'll hear his song Never Again...

"Girl, you lied straight to my face
Looking in my eyes
And I believed you 'cause I loved you more than life
And all you had to do
Was apologize
You didn't say you're sorry
I don't understand
You don't care that you hurt me..."

And in Everytime she says

"I may have made it rain
Please forgive me
My weakness caused you pain
And this song is my sorry "

Hmmmm....I think there is totally a connection

GeoffZ 04-18-2004 05:26 PM

Yeah, the song has to be about Justin. She won't come out and say it, but it has to be. I thought there was about to be a nipple shot too...the camera was going really low. My guess is that the whole thing was just a dream since she's ok at the end.

rayray 04-20-2004 04:43 PM

Just saw the whole thing, and i love it! I think its awesome to see a different side of her, I love the dancing videos but this has got to be one of my favorites so far. And i give her credit for not taking this song and doing something totally for justin and more about herself.

ROCK ON BRIT!

She said before that she sat down in England or Mexico at a piano in the hotel and started playing the rift in Everytime. And then she clipped things out in her head and wrote it. Which is pretty good for Brit.

I"m so glad she didn't make the video a "cry me a river" video.

Unregistered- 04-20-2004 11:20 PM

IMO, anyone who cheats on a GOD like Justin Timberlake deserves to hang her head in shame. Pfft. No sympathies.

smiley21 04-20-2004 11:24 PM

IMO- justin aint all that...anymore. he used to be cute.

anywho..

i really like britney's new video. it is good to see her bounce back from that horrible excuse for a video called 'toxic'

A GOD????? LOL!!! Please..... I never liked him, I always thought he was gay and Britney was a cover up. My goodness look at his hair back then.... was he serious about that blonde, curly hair? There were much better looking boy band members, she needed to trade off or something.

Besides I will always stand by my opinion that when your boyfriend spends $3,000.00 at a strip club on dancers and lap dances....there's prolly some sort of issue. Nobody really knows what went on anyway.... but good for Britney for not bringing any of it up in her video. :D

GeekyPenguin 04-21-2004 11:36 AM

I'll admit it, I really liked this video. I do like most of her music though, so, not a reach.

sugar and spice 04-21-2004 02:49 PM

I heart Britney.

That's all.

rayray 04-22-2004 01:14 AM

Its nice to finally see some Britney fans!!!:D :D :D

I agree, $3000 is a bit much. $1500 sounds more realistic, IMO. And don't diss strippers who give lap dances. They're really, really fun and entertaining. For $3000 he may as well have gotten laid.

Just hearing her 'sing' gives me a headache as she lacks the talent. I'd rather put up with Mantasia Taquito's "YEAH YEAHS" than listen to Britney.

I'm not dissing strippers...they work hard for their money!!!

33girl 04-22-2004 10:40 AM

I saw this last night. It is the "November Rain" of Britney videos.

DigitalAngel126 04-24-2004 01:09 PM

I don't know about this... I like the fact that it's straying from her norm, but...For a music video, I don't know if I like it all that much. For some reason, when he ran into the bathroom and foun her in the tub, that struck a major chord with me. Don't think I liked it. :(

(Not a Britney fan anyways)
