I do. I like Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Clay Walker, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, The Dixie Chicks, John Micheal Mongomery, Sara Evans, Patti Loveless, Mary Chopin Carpenter, Reba McEntire, the list goes on and on.

I am with Aggiesigmanu with the texas country.. I lived in san marcos for 5 years and saw pat green, roger creager, kevin fowler, etc..

I also like other country like Rascal Flatts, kenny chesney

i love country, but mostly the mainstream stuff. i'm actually listening to shaina twain, but i like the dixie chicks, faith hill, brad paisley, rascal flatts, and some others, just can't think of thier names. the one song"three mississippi" is another one i like

I go through spurts where I listen to it a lot more than other times, and right now I'm in the middle of one! I love it!!

too bad there are no country stations in middle of nowhere Quebec...

Now THIS is my thread! Woo hoo! I will admit, I do like "Nashville pop" but I LOVE Texas music!! Cory Morrow's my man!!

Hi, my name is Sharon, and I'm obsessed with country music. :D You name it, I probably love it. I've been going back to 1990s country lately, but I love it all.

I've lived in Nashville my entire life and I HATE country music. Anyone want to trade schools? Belmont is full of aspiring country music artists/songwriters. It's all around me all the time. Yuck.

I am not a country music fan at all...though my ex-boyfriend loved it. He loved to reset the stations on my car stereo buttons to country stations just to make me mad. :rolleyes:

However, it turns out that a friend of mine from high school (okay, the guy I had a raging crush on for years but nothing ever happened, unfortunately!) released a country album recently. You can check him out on his page...there's a link where you can hear his stuff too. (And yes he still is incredibly hot. :D)

I've always been a country music fan but lately I refuse to change my radio station off of 99.5 - our local country station here in Tampa. That and I watch CMT like's it's going off the air.

I like country...real country, that is. None of this Shania crap. If you want to hear some good stuff, try bluegrass. :)

I do like Josh Turner, though...of the new singers, he sounds most traditional. His CD is awesome!

Haha, same here! It's usually either CNN or CMT. When I go over to someone's place, they never let me have the remote because they know my usual channels. haha.

I admit it, I love country..so much I work at a country music station. But I grew up on it from living in the backwoods of northeast Tennessee. I like old country: Roy Acuff, Patsy Cline, Jimmy Rodgers, 'The Man in Black', Nelson, Waylon and more. I also like new country and bluegrass though too.

SO a lot of my sisters are going to the Kenny Chesney/Keith Urban/Dierks Bentley concert on Saturday (which I am very jealous of), but rumor has it that Dierks broke his leg and isn't performing anymore. Anyone else heard this?

I'm getting back into my country-lovin' roots :D I like the more pop-like country though. However, thanks to the boyfriend I have fallen in love w/Johnny Cash...

I'm not all about "pop" country music, but by and large, I love country music! I really enjoy Hank Williams' songs, as they remind me of my grandfather who sang covers of his song to pay his way through law school.
