Chapter Mascots?
 

This was started in one of the other threads, so I thought I'd give it a thread of its own. What is your chapter's mascot? Here in at UIC, the Delta Delta mascot is Opus the penguin. :D

For the Zeta Chapter, it's the gray mouse.

Delta Tau Chapter local mascot is the Leopard and Butterfly (Butterfly was adopted in memory of a sister that passed away 3 yrs ago).

The Delta Nu Chapter mascot is the dragon

our mascot is the bumble bee. (delta upsilon chapter)

Delta Mu ours is the turtle too!

Hey Ladies! The Gamma Chi chapters mascot is a butterfly. [COLOR=seagreen] :p

The Alpha Gamma Chapter's mascot was a bunny. Then this past year it was voted and changed to a dragonfly.

Gamma Rho has always had Tweety Bird, and now they've also adopted a girraffe!

Gamma Mu's is the bunny. Why don't we have a mascot nationally? Is there a reason? I know our symbol is an anchor...but many of the sororities seem to have a national symbol and a national mascot.
Delta Zeta- Lamp, Turtle
Alpha Chi Omega- Lyre, Angel
Phi Mu- Quatrefoil, Lion

change is good.....maybe we could petition for a mascot, too.

If we adopted a mascot, I would vote an angel, as well. I know DPhiE has the unicorn, and I love them, too! Or there's always the famous turtle, or even frogs, giraffes.... and let's not forget elephants (no pun intended!)

I think I just figured out why we don't have a mascot....too hard to pick one!!!!!!!!

I always looked at it as the ability of our chapters to express our individuality (a local mascot), but nationally have a common bond (the anchor). :)

Wow, lots of turtles!
My chapter, Beta Delta @ Duquesne University, has the tiger as our mascot (it used to be a unicorn at some point though).
My best friend is an alum of the Delta chapter at IUP and they have the frog as their mascot.

I don't mean to kill the mystery, but check this out...
 

Gamma Theta at Penn State Erie is the teddy bear

Our mascot is not on Wiki but Zeta Tau is the gators, don't know if he has a name though...
