What physical characteristic could you LEAST tolerate in a mate?

I guess this is phyical, BAD BREATH!:o

body odor. :(

I can't handle dirt. No body odor, no bad breath, no dirt underneath the finger nails. NO DIRT.

I am very picky when it comes to height. No one under 5' 11". I'll get a man some breath mints and a bath, but I can't make him grow. I don't know why I'm so caught up on height; maybe it's because my dad is tall. I don't know, but he has to be taller than me when I'm in heels (and I wear high heels).

I cant stand a man who doesnt take care of ashy lips. I HATE that. General appearance upkeep; if you are grown, you should know to wash, brush your teeth, use lotion/oil/both daily, etc.

Body odor. Get familiar with soap and water.
On the height issue, I am 5'9" and thick, so I wasn't too geeked on dating shorter men. But time, age and not having a man for nearly five years may have changed my tune.

Jacked up Mouth. Where teeth have turned towards each other like you would Doosie Doo in a square dance. Teeth just all over the mouth bowing and courtseying.

Orthodontists all over are ready and willing to help get a grill back in check.

I concur...all those other things can be dealt with. I am 5'10" and I can honestly say that I've never dated anyone under 6'. I'm like 6'1" with nice heels...:D.

I couldn't be with a man shorter than me. I'm tall and I wear heels everyday. I've had my "no shorter than 6 feet" standard since high school. Even if his face is cute there would still be no attraction. I like the feeling of looking up to my man.

I like nice teeth and not just how they are positioned but how clean they are. I could care less if your breath is on point and you have calculus build up on all your bottom teeth. Aaah Nooo! Yeah I have braces now so if I care so shoud you.

I like to rough look sometimes but once in a while you gots to shave good brother.

I'd have to go with body odor with a man being shorter than me coming in a very close second. Granted I'm only 5'4", but I do not like short men.

One of us has got to be able to reach the top shelf in the kitchen cabinet.

I have to chime in on the height factor. I am 6'0" and I love it when a man has to bend down to kiss me :D If I am not attracted to a man physically, I'm just not interested. Please note.... as my momma says, "Girl, don't get caught up in the grooming..... you can fix that later!"

I can't deal with the short thing. I am short myself, so maybe I am a hypocrit (I'm 5'2). But I can't be with anyone less than 6', 200 lbs. Just a preference.

I also can't stand men who have that fat roll, or bumbs on the back of their head, close to the neck. That disgusts me.

We cant talk if everytime you open your mouth I want to gag.
Mens! Listen up! Brush your tongue, listerine, floss, carry mints...do what you have to do so that your breath doesn't smell like you have been eating poo poo!

Cornrolls, bad teeth, thug wear, dirt under his finger nails, cologne (maybe this is because my father never, ever wore it, so I got use to a man smelling like soap), too short, must keep your hair cut, no ashy lips (this is my father's pet peeve. He buys chapstick like it going out of style), must comb your hair (a lot of men do not do this---->Fred from MTB), ashy rough feet (Lawd, I will personlly take you to Top Nails, Tip-Top Nails, Beautiful Nails, Lings Nails and have them go at your feet. You can also go to Walgreen and by a pumice stone and hit them boys up) and just all around ashy (lotion cost $1 at the dolla store so I will also hook you up there also)

With the height. Im tall myself (5'8) and I will not date a man under 5'10. I think its security and feeling protected. I like to look up to my man also. My SO is 6'3, so I have done well. LOL!

Yes gurl! They can't just be tall and skinny. I need muscles. I'd choose NFL body over NBA body anyday. I just like REALLY masculine men. Tall, muscular, deep voice (that's a must), facial hair, confident- almost arrogant, ....I love those things in a man.

Co-sign 100% with Queencece. It is a protection thing. I just feel safe and protected with a tall, muscular guy. I love looking up to them too.

I will have to co-sign on that one, too. I was in love with Morris Chestnut until I saw all his taco meat on The Brothers. It was sickening; now everytime I see him I picture his chest.

As far as bad breath, well I was clowned royally in high school for presumably having tart breath (I didn't; girls were just trying to humiliate me by chanting "Stinky breath, stinky breath"). Then I put them on full blast by replying, "If you would take time to douche, then da[rn]it, my breath wouldn't stink." Needless to say, I got no more "complaints" on my breath after that.

Anyway, to answer the question, I cannot stand women with hair color inconsistent with their complexion (red, blue, blonde on a dark skinned woman--looking like a photo negative).

By the same token, no hoochie/hoodrat type of women, either. I dated one off and on from high school up until 4 years ago and she was a pain in the BUTT! I like the old school 80's type of woman--the ones who dress like a preppie princess.

I've dated taller girls and women (there is a difference) and I have been able to reach all parts of them without a probelm.

I'm certain that this is the case:) but everyone has preferences. I am sure many men miss out on exceptional women who are not a certain weight, a certain complexion, or have a certain type of hair. It is all a matter of preference.

Remember, not all NBA bodies are skinny. There are plenty who are buffed out and up.;) The ideal for me would be tall with diesel muscularity, short or no hair. And must dress classically and conservatively.

My preference isn't a man 6 ft. and taller - you just have to be taller than me. *lol* :)

Amen to that! And I really hate when they lift up their arms and they have the same damn taco meat under there too. Another thing is rusty feet with toenails long enough to use as a sword. Soak those boys in some real hot eater and get a pumice stone. Also, please have clean ears both inside and out. I like to nibble :D .

And honestly professor, that's not a "rule" per se..it's just always worked out that I've dated men over 6ft. I guess that's what I'm attracted to, but I've never flat out rejected someone because of height. (I don't want to seem shallow :))

I would have to agree with LoveSpell on the hairy chest. There is nothing worse than resting your freshly done hair upon a chest of taco meat. GROSS!

Dirty nails are nerve wrecking. I actually was talking to a sweet guy who loved to cook and could cook, but his nails always looked like he had been working on a 76 Chevy and the boy didn't even have a job.

I'm also going to have to cosign on the general hygeine (you're a grown azz man...wash yourface, brush your teeth (and tongue), clean your ears, etc). Also a No-No: a taco-meat chest, jacked-up feet, dirty nails, bad breath, body odor, walking around ashy, and extremely hairy underarms (then you want to put your arm around me when your'e wearing a sleeveless shirt) :eek:. Basicall,y an unkept appearance is frowned upon...
