does anyone watch the soap opera "passions"? that's the only other soap i watch besides days of our lives.

i watch it when i watch DAYS and i am too lazy to change the channel.....it's cheezie as all poop......good for a laugh....


i have to admit, though, getting caught up in the theresa/little ethan battle.....that day where those guards, um, shocked her.....was......pathetic.

start paying more, passions....you'll get better actors (or at least extras )!!!!

I used to watch it when it first came on....then sporadically until Timmy died. Then not at all. Then, when they got the new Chad, I watched it a little.

Are they FINALLY going to reveal that he and the other chick are siblings? How "VC Andrews" would that be?

I'm so mad at you for going there!!! But, I read all of those books in jr.high/hs.

Passions is the only show I watch. It moves soooooooooooo slow though. Which is great for me actually. I can miss it for a month and still know what's going on.

Who is the real killer? does anyone know?

i hadn't watched it for a while and then i also was too lazy to change the channel while doing homework the other day...and i got confused: when the HELL did the lopez-fitzgerald's get ANOTHER kid??!!
pilar was all: poor MIGUEL and his illegitimate child, poor LUIS for getting involved with the crane family resident psycho, poor ANTONIO for dissappearing and then randomly coming back after we had never mentioned his name before, poor TERESA for falling in love with ethan who is married to a dumb beeotch with and even beeotchier mother and losing her son, and oh yeah, poor POMONA for never being mentioned on the show before...
i was like, WTF mate?

The killer on Days was the chick that looks like Marlena.

Passions....umm yea, I quit watching that about a year or so ago cause it got so cheesy! They just need to get to the point where they do a freakin' paternity test and find out little ethan is not julians but is really ethans from when he and teresa were on the beach together years ago. it's dumb now...they need new writers on the show!!!!!

I have to admit the only reason I started watching Passions was because of Buffy.

Any of the other Buffy fans out there will know this, but one of the characters, Spike, was a diehard Passions fan. He was always talking about it and how he couldn't miss an episode. Then come to find out that the cast actually watched the show and they worked it into the script. LOL.

I think I'm one of the few people who likes Gwen and Ethan. I realize that Gwen has done some really cruel stuff but Theresa just bugs me. She is such a whiner. She drives me nuts.


As for missing the show for a month, that's how I felt with Day's because I haven't watched that show in like two years and I still have an idea what the heck is going on. (Thanks to the internet and Soap Opera Digest).

I missed the ep from today. But the previews showed Teresa bargaining with Gwen for her child. So, I'm guessing Teresa is pregnant with Gwen and Ethan's baby and will give them that baby for little Ethan?

Theresa is so conniving. I get that so is Gwen, but it seems to me that Gwen really just follows Rebecca's lead.

Hey if Gwen is smart, she'll stand up to Rebecca and make the deal.

Gwen can't get pregnant, so she and Ethan are having a surrogate carry their baby. Theresa snuck into the hospital room where the surrogate was staying just before the procedure was to begin and switched places with the surrogate. Her plan is to trade Gwen and Ethan's baby for her own son (whom they have adopted after Rebecca successfully gained custody of him). I didn't watch yesterday's show though, so I don't know how successful Theresa's scheme was.

Luis and Sheridan still are clueless about Beth's baby. They probably won't find out for like another 5 years :rolleyes:

Hey Charity was on CSI: Miami last night. Kind of random.

Alistar doesn't want Sheridan and Luis together because he doesn't want Luis to find out what happend to Martin(his father). Antoino doesn't seem to care about why Martin disappeared, so I believe that is why he allowed them to be married.

Shoot, Antonio has his own problems. I mean, amnesia. Wasn't he temporarily blind too??

i want theresa and ethan to be together, but isn't "drugging" or whatever she did to the surrogate mother and switching places illegal and therefore she won't get lil ethan back?! grrr. her character is so stupid sometimes. and i don't like antonio. he knows that cheridan was in love with luis and evryone knows.

What Theresa did is illegal. Wouldn't it technically be considered stealing since she wasn't the surrogate that Gwen and Ethan chose?

What is so stupid is that Theresa couldn't have feasibly been Ethan and Gwen's surrogate so quickly. I've known woman who went through In-vitro, which is almost similar to surrogacy. The woman has to go through months worth of injections preparing her body to implant an egg. Plus, it has to stop her periods. This is not something that Theresa could just 'decide' to do. I get that it is a soap opera, but geez.

Maybe kidnap? I don't know. But what I do know is that Theresa needs to keep her head still because when she gets excited.....she shakes like a crack addict.

When Gwen broke that bottle and threatened Theresa I began laughing uncontrollably. TOO FUNNY! Gwen just needs to leave Ethan. If he sympathizes with Theresa after her baby-stealing, then he is too far gone over her. What's up with everyone feeling bad for her. I do not like Gwen and Rebecca, but Theresa has lost her darn mind.

Theresa's logic is a little off.. I mean thinking you can trade their baby for your son back. She wouldnt have custody of the child since its not really hers.. right??

I dont know. I mean its theirs but then she carried it to term.. I dont know how that all works.

I have watched this show since I was a freshman.. so around five years now. Sometimes I get frustrated though and dont watch for a while since nothing new happens. then I just catch back up.

ethan needs to find out that gwen framed teresa for exposing that ethan really isnt julian's baby. that would really break up ethan and gwen

yes!! before the embryo implant, he was telling it to "heather" how he still loved teresa. and he's been backing teresa up all the time. if he knew that gwen was responsible, then he'd definitely divorce her. then he'd get back with teresa, and since that's all teresa wants, maybe she won't be/do crazy things anymore.

Does anyone remember a similar storyline on Days when Vivian stole Victor and Kate's eggs and had them implanted in her? I guess you'll get the exact same storylines when you have their old head writer, huh?

I totally remember that storyline on Days. I thought it was a stupid storyline then and I think it is stupid storyline now. I realize that it is a soap opera but why do they write the characters so COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY STUPID?
What's ironic is that now the actress who played Vivian is on Passions. LOL. Talk about a small world.
