New Tri Delta chapter!
 

In addition to the recolonization of the Delta Lambda chapter at Butler, Gamma Rho Delta at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL chose to affiliate with Tri Delta. Two new Tri Delta chapters next fall! The Epsilon Beta chapter will be formally pledged on April 18th.

Alpha Phi is the only other NPC group at the school.

There's another new Tri Delta chapter! The Epsilon Gamma chapter will open next fall at Eastern Illinois. Three new chapters in the fall!

Wow -- we are doing great! And aren't we presenting for the expansion at Elon right now? I know we're presenting against some strong groups so there's no guarantee we'll get it, and four colonies would be a lot, but I'd LOVE to see a chapter there.

Also, I'm really excited about these new Illinois chapters because it's great to see more Tri Delta presence in the Midwest . . . now if only we can another chapter in Wisconsin! (Hint: with any luck, Marquette will be ready for expansion within the next few years. ;) )

I hear Tri Delta is also presenting at Cal Poly SLO. Good luck and congratulations!!!

At Elon, ADPi and Alpha Phi are also presenting. I think the presentations are May 5-7 so it shouldn't be too long before we find out who's chosen.

Hey girls! I'm a rising senior at Elon, and I am VERY excited about Tri-Delta coming to campus! I'm seriously considering joining Tri-Delta in the fall, and helping the organization out as much as possible. I know several girls who are also considering it, and I can definitely say that it will be a fine organization on our campus. Thank you for all of your support!

That's wonderful! I have to admit I am really excited about the Elon colonization. Please keep us updated on whether or not you decide to join and what happens! :)

No wonder EO is going NUTS about the pins they lent us. We got lent 50 badges, 50 tridents, and 50 new member pins. Turns out there was a miscommunication between the outgoing VP/A and the incoming, and each thought the other had sent it out. We(or should I say, my collegic chapter **sniff sniff** got a very frantic letter from EO saying they needed the ritual jewlery ASAP.

Sorry for crashing your board again. After much thought and prayer, I have decided to join Tri-Delta at Elon! Megan Shaw, the FC for Elon, sent me an email last night, and she will be at Elon's organization fair on September 3rd. I don't know what the colonization schedule is or what the process is, but I will let you guys know as soon as a find out. Thanks!!!

No set schedule as of yet, but there will be a major Tri-Delta event once a week in September. Bids will be passed out by October 8th, and installation will be November 19-20.

This is so cool, I'm really glad that Tri-Delta is coming to Elon :)

Good luck at the org fair! I know everyone on campus is excited about Tri-Delta's colonization. Ours was very successful three years ago, and I know that this chapter will flourish at Elon :) You have some great women interested, too!

Hi ladies!

I've swung by the Tri Delta table at Elon, and picked up some information. Here is the recruitment schedule for the Elon colony:

September 8th- Informational Session
September 18th- Family Weekend Meet and Greet
September 20th- Philanthropy Event
September 28th- Ice Cream Social
October 5th-7th- Consultation Meetings

The sisters from Wake Forest were really nice and extremely helpful. I've talked to a few of them, and they are very proud to be Tri Deltas. The field consultant is also doing an awesome job sending information out to interested people.

Tomorrow is the info session, and I'll let everyone know how it goes!

I think this might be the first rush thread I'm interested in

The info session went very well. Only the field consultant and the alumnae advisor were there (Wake Forest couldn't make it due to Hurricane Frances). They explained what Tri Delta is all about, and how Elon selected them to colonize this fall. They also gave us a little bit of info on St. Jude, what qualities they looked for in founders, and some local stats (over 3,000 Tri Delta alumnae are in NC :) ). There were probably 50 or so girls there, and the max for a colony is 90. I'm pretty sure more will come to the other recruitment events. Freshmen can not rush at Elon until January, so they are only looking for sophomores, juniors, and seniors to be founders.

The next recruitment event is next Saturday which is Family weekend. This will be neat because it gives our families the opportunity to learn more about Tri Delta. It's awesome that Tri Delta wants our families to be educated about their organization, because they seem to want families involved in the process as well. I'll keep you guys posted :)

Recruitment is going great so far. I have a recruitment thread here if you want to check it out. Next week is an ice cream social, and two weeks from today is my interview. Two weeks from tomorrow is bid day! I can't wait :D

Bid day is today at Elon, and I'm happy to say that I am a new member of Tri Delta!!!!! :D I don't know any offical numbers, but they were planning to pass out 90 bids, and I've heard that 120 girls went through recruitment. I'll let you guys know as soon as I find out :D

So I got my Trident today and they reported that Loyola Marymount asked us to expand! Already a new colony for next year!
