Nope, no way. My country and my citizenship are precious to me and no amount of money is worth giving them up.

The only terms are:

You never set foot in your home country again.

Maybe the word exile is messing with y'all.

You didn't commit a crime or an act of treason. Someone with some deep pockets just offers you $10, 000, 000 to leave and NEVER come back.

well if i was leaving the country... they couldn't charge me taxes on that 10 mill. Could live just across the border in Canada, lol. Or somewhere fun....

Exactly, I'd be all up in Toronto and Ontario and Vancouver. Flying all my family and friends up for the weekend. Better yet might start a business with a few million and move my friends up there.

ERRR, Toronto's part of Ontario. Ontario is a province, Toronto and Vancouver are cities.

I'd move to the UK... I can learn to drive on the wrong side of the road for that kind of dough ;)

I would do it in a heartbeat if I could be exiled to somewhere like Italy or something. Also, I'd love to just live on a beach for the rest of my life, so maybe Tahiti would be fun too... :)

For 10 million, I'd be French and oppose the Iraq war.

Well that money would be gone in a heartbeat with all of my medical/diabetic supplies necessary. I don't know what health insurance is like in other countries, but I think I will stick it out here for a while.

i've always said i want to move back to london after going to school there, so this could be my chance. or maybe i'd go to grand cayman. yeah, i'd definitely consider it.

I would move to the UK.

Yes and I don't have a single doubt about that decision. I would pack up my pets and my boyfriend and go sit on an island sipping drinks for the rest of my life. :cool:
