Any Megagreek Members here?
 

Now that Megagreek is charging their numbers showing users online is always like zero or one. So it seems as if people are moving on to a "Plan B".

Does anyone out there have information on any groups or websites that people affected by the changes on MG may be visiting now?

Also, for anyone out there, would it be considered taboo, by Greekchat standards, for me to post the same message in the forums of each of the Divine Nine? The membership of MG was mostly comprised of the NPHC and I didn't see a lot of threads started by people in those orgs in places other than their own forum listings.

Thanks kddani. I figured I would ask first. Ignorance is never an excuse when you can simply ask.

The Divine Nine is a nickname used by the Fraternities and Sororities that make up the NPHC(National Pan-Hellenic Council) which is the governing body for Black Greek Letter Organizations.

The Divine Nine is a nickname for all of the National Pan-Hellenic Fraternities and Sororities. There are a total of 9 groups.

No prob. Wish more people would ask!

Altheia- there's a bunch of threads throughout the site that talk about the Divine 9 - NPHC. I've learned a lot myself through many of those threads!

I just noticed that yesterday when I tried to log onto Megagreek. I'm not paying either.

For those of us who are new to GC and have never heard of Megagreek, can you tell us what it is? how it differs from GC? The Guest Tour link is down.

MG is basically targeted toward NPHC sororities and fraternities, but I've seen a sprinking of NPC/NIC members, MCGLO members and LGLO members on there.

MegaGreek is a site for member of BGLO's

it's a different atmosphere up there.....that site is the best one out there.

So other than Kazo do any of you guys know of sites where MG'ers are going now?

here...kazo's the only one i go to other than here.

I am around on SG and some other yahoogroups, but Kazo is the best one out right now and GC is still a very cool site with a chill atmosphere.

Well I am glad that you are here on GC instead of somewhere else no matter the reason! It is very helpful to learn more about the HBGLOs and I might not be able to do that if it weren't for GC and your collective participation.

It's not THAT good to pay for what you can get for free. It's just that it was sort of like family when you'd go there and post.

i don't know about that...it took forever for posts to load up. but the good things were lookin at profiles and looking at pics.

I want to be a moderator on KAZO.

[COLOR=blue] Yeah I'm a megagreek exile too. I check Kazo out on occassion, I guess I got to be in the mind set to deal with Kazo because it isn't for the weak minded nor the weak hearted.

I agree. Personally, I'm too old and laid-back for Kazo. Rudey may need to go over there though. I'd pay to see that.
