Who has worn Duct Tape?

I have heard of an unusual thing where women will actually use duct tape to . . uhm . . well . .. tuck and enhance parts of themselves. . .

Is this true? And if so, who on GC has Duct taped themselves?

smiley21 03-31-2004 12:38 AM

someone is going to admit that?:o

Only if the duct tape cost over $600.

PsychTau 03-31-2004 12:48 AM

Well, it wasn't duct tape, but I had to use some tape with my senior prom dress in order to keep the boobs in place.

I have a feeling James was looking for something a little more exciting than that, though......

I have never done that. If I can't find the right bra, I would rather go commando than use duct tape.

valkyrie 03-31-2004 12:59 AM

I've never done it, but I'd admit it if I had.

Saran Wrap

Anyone ever use Saran Wrap?

Enquiring minds want to know.

I'm the only one who will admit using duct tape!? Although it was for a backless dress-not as exciting as you may imagine. It hurts like hell when you pull it off though-

hottytoddy 03-31-2004 04:04 AM

I've tried it...it didn't work out. I am rather busty. It didn't make that much difference, so I went braless that night.

kstar 03-31-2004 06:49 AM

I own Duct Tape pants!

And yes, I have duct taped other... parts of my body, but! it WAS for a play, and not comfortable at all, also, doesn't look natural at all.

AlethiaSi 03-31-2004 08:00 AM

like the others- this isn't too exciting- it was for a very low cut shirt that wouldn't stay in place- and it hurt like hell when i pulled it off!

A few years ago, two of my friends wrapped themselves in Saran Wrap for their Halloween costumes. Yes they were both female. However, they used the colored kind. One girl made a bikini top and a mini skirt and the other girl made a dress. Everything was fine and dandy until they got too drunk and had to pee. We cut slits up the sides of their "dresses" so they could use the bathroom. Later that night, the one girl was hyperventalating and I was the lucky girl to cut her out of her dress. Oh what a night.

And to answer both questions, no, I haven't used either household item on my body. :p

I've never done it because i find it.........it's just not for me, but my friend did juniro year for the sweethearts dance, she taped her boobs up. My other friend in high school duct taped the top and soles of his shoes together so he could still wear them to school. He wasnt poor or anythign, he just really liked the shoes and really wanted a laugh :)

Lady Pi Phi 03-31-2004 02:48 PM

back in highschool people used duct tape to make wallets

honeychile 03-31-2004 02:50 PM

I thought this was going to be about B&D!!!!

No, I'm allergic to band aids, so I figure that I'd get a REALLY bad reaction to duct tape!

DeltAlum 03-31-2004 02:57 PM

When my duct tape is worn, I throw it away. It won't stick anymore.

FAB*SpiceySpice 03-31-2004 03:38 PM

Well, I have no problem admitting to the fact that I have worn duct tape before. Sadly I was not very blessed in the cleavage department, so when I wear a backless dress that can't have a bra worn with it, wearing nothing is just NOT an option. I look like a 12 year old b/c I'm so flat. So I use duct tape to give myseldf cleavage, and damnit it works well. I plan to do it again this Friday for our formal too. :D

It's no fun to take off though. :(

Intense1920 03-31-2004 03:56 PM

No, never have. If I can't find the right bra for a dress than I'm not buying the dress.

MooseGirl 03-31-2004 05:05 PM

yeah, I tried it once like the other ladies here, for a backless dress.

It didn't really work though, so I took it off and went braless....

That was far more information than I needed to know.

AlphaGamDiva 04-12-2004 01:58 PM

i swear by duct tape....there's not a bra in the world that can do what duct tape does. LOL....but it's true. push ups are fine for an "everyday lift" ;), but for your dress up or club, etc.....duct tape is the way to go. :D and "busty" girls who think it won't work....it will.....trust me....you just have to use enough.

this is getting weird now....... :p

AlphaFrog 04-12-2004 04:13 PM

I tried it with my colorguard uniform because I could never find the right bra...there was always something that didn't work with the uniform...although the duct tape didn't work AT ALL...

Glitter650 04-12-2004 04:19 PM

You just have to put the tape in the correct places or it doesnt' do what it's supposed I think one of the fashion mags had directiosn about how to properly duct tape yourself :D it works really well, and so much cheaper than those stupid sticky bra thingies that Vickie's sells..

UKDaisy 04-12-2004 04:31 PM

I HAVE TOTALLY WORN DUCT TAPE!!!! There's no shame in admitting it. Some dresses are impossible to find a good bra to wear with it, or some dresses simply don't flatter you're figure. So by enhancing it with duct tape....voila' !!!

I have a dress I'm wearing to formal this weekend that I have to wear duct tape with. Its spilt down the middle, so there's no bra that can work that.

I will warn anyone who hasn't tried it, but is thinking about it. It hurts, oh how it hurts!!!

James 04-12-2004 08:45 PM

Uhm kids . . just curious but what do yall do when you are with your date and its time to start gettin' physical?

It might be diconcerting to remove a ladies top and see thei gray metallic discoloring on her body . .

dzsaigirl 04-12-2004 11:12 PM

I have friends who have duct taped. I have used surgical tape and band aids to cover certain...things...when I have had to go commando on top - if you get my drift. I have also tried the stupid paste on bra thing and if you have big boobs, it just doesn't work at all...plus, it hurts to take them off.

ladyj39 04-13-2004 12:08 AM

My friend tried duct tape out of desperation one New Year's Eve.

She had an amazing red dress that was not bra-friendly at all. She tried everything and saw something about duct tape in a magazine. I had to help her apply it and it worked really well! But, we were dancing all night and it kind of melded to her body. She said her boyfriend had to help her rip it off and she was in tears the whole time! She had bruises and welts for a couple of weeks afterwards.

I doubt I'll ever try it because I have really sensitive skin and that wouldn't be pretty! :)

Where the hell do you put it?
I guess I've just never heard of this. I've heard of two-sided tape for low-cut blouses, but never duct tape. Could you enlighten me (out of curiousity)? You can PM if you prefer! :D
