What terms of endearment have you been called that you liked or didn't like?

Snookums . . . hon . .. hunny bunny . . . etc etc . . you get the point.

I really like when guys I am dating use cute names for me or just shorten my name to Jess because it makes me feel like they think that they are comfortable. Wow I wonder if that makes any sense

I called my boyfriend "Shmoopie" like on Seinfeld. He hated it so that nickname is out. I like Honey, Sweetie, among others.

i personally like being called babe or soemthing like that- i call all my friends something- sweetie, babes, babe, baby girl, hun, darling... wahtever comes to mind... i think it shows that people are comfortable with you and that you are comfortable with them...

Sweetie or baby

in private - my boyfriend can call me any one those nicknames (usually babe or baby) but if we're around other people - barf!!! i think it's so gross when people do that

i have had past bfs call me "darlin'." Yuck... I felt like i was 12. And then my last bf used "my dear" a lot. Also annoyed me.

He calls me sweetie or babe usually. Every now and then, he'll call me sweet pea or princess. I really like sweet pea. I think it's really cute.

I'll call him baby. Every now and then I call him baby doll...I don't know where I picked that one up, but I'm trying to stop before I accidentally say it infront of his friends. :p

My guy calls me darlin which is really cute with his southern drawl :) Either that or he calls me baby or Sarah-Bear

I liked being called Win or Winnie by one guy in particular who I don't really talk to anymore! I kinda like "Baby" too though!

I hate darlin' and sugar from men...but my southern elders can call me just about anything they want.

Awww...I didn't mind that one. I dated a guy from Texas for a little while in college, and he always called me "Dana darlin' "...at least it wasn't "hon." :p

I've been (to my recollection) Baby, Babe, Boo, Honey, Sweetie, and G (it was a wierd joke)...Didn't really mind any of those other than honey/sweetie (my dad always called me those, so it was wierd to hear it from a boyfriend).

My bf usually calls me Babe, Sweetie, Love.. when he's especially sweet its Princess or Missy (it was a joke once.. he called me Missy Marie [from my AnnMarie]. Sometimes 'Sunshine' (as in "Good Morning Sunshine" and such..)

I *hate* with a burning passion when he calls me "Woman" he does it because he knows it makes me furious. :mad: :mad: :mad:

I HATED "Babe" and "Baby". It makes my skin crawl.
Hubby and I still pull out the old terms.
Sugar Bear, Sugar Bugger, Honey Bunny.

Now I've added one-"Hey, Old Man". He laughs every single time.

Of course, we do have others we use from time to time. ;)

Just shows how these little names are sooooooo personal and can either turn you on or shut you down!

I call him normally "baby, hunny, sweetie" etc..even in front of his bros..but he doesn't mind ;)

Actually . . . I posted this topic to help with my training.

I figured reading it would make me faintly nauseus and even gag, therfore reducing my apetite and even eliminating some over eating.

my 1st bf called me sticky-fur....but that was my own fault, he started out callin me honey-bunny and I told him that whenever he said that I just thought of a poor rabbit covered in honey, hence sticky fur.....

That just conjures the oddest images.

My favorite name I was ever called by a boy was Peaches.

My husband usually calls me chiquita or chamaca.

my nicknames to my significant other? he calls me Bun. dont ask lol, and my daughter is Bunny. i dont really call him anything, theres never anyone else around! its usually hey you.

This one guy used to call me his pretty girl (BTW I wasn't in AKA then, so it had nothing to do with that), even to my firends. My friends thought that was sooooo cute......until he became a lying jerk:(:mad::(:mad:!!

We always call each other babe when we're out, but when we're at home we tend to be silly and are always going overboard with the "sugarplums" and "honeypies" just for fun. :)

Shawty I wouldn't be mad at, because I am quite short, lol, but Ma gets on my nerves a little. Me and my husband call each other baby. We get offended if we call each other by our names because we're so used to hearing 'baby', LOL.

My boyfriend and I call each other "baby" ... and we call each other "swan" once in a while (Billy Madison reference-- long story).
