Boston Market
Ok, I keep on hearing about this place. What is so good about this restaurant? What kind of food do they serve?
|
They serve Rossitere Chicken. Also they make various Sandwiches such as Chicken, Ham, and Meatloaf. and they have various side dishes and salads as well as cookies.
|
I haven't heard of Boston Market since 2000...I had no idea they were still around! :p
I didn't like eating there when it was close to me, I felt more justified making my own food @ home-considering I could make everything they sold for less money! |
Bostonm market is kind of like KFC - only the chicken is rotisserie not fried. They also have meatloaf, turkey, salads, and a ton of sides.
I'm not really a big fan of Boston Market - the chicken is still too greasy for me. |
Oh, I love Boston Market!
It's basically home-cooking fast food.... meat loaf, potatos, rotisserie (sp) chicken, cornbread, mac and cheese, etc. I don't eat there often, but it's great for getting comfort food without the work once in a while. |
Boston Market is all over the Orlando area! I love it! It's a great meal if you don't feel like cooking dinner. Much better than a greasy hamburger with fries.
I love their rotisserie chicken and their apples w/ cinnamon are AWESOME! |
lol, y'all are making me hungry!
|
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh...
How I miss Boston Market!!! It was the next best thing to Kenny Rogers' Roasters!!! Alas, both have folded long ago here. |
We don't have Boston Market around here, but it sounds good to me! Yum!
Though a greasy burger and fries isn't always bad. Wish I had some from Sonic right now! :D |

I love Boston Market! They have fabulous mac and cheese and I'm a big fan of their spinach. Good stuff!
|
I LOVE the mac and cheese! I also enjoy the rotisserie turkey. It is really good. Also, their chicken and turkey carver sandwiches are good (with no dijon crap) and their teryaki chicken sandwich is yummy, but I get it without the pineapple ring :)
|
They used to be here but all of the locations I know are gone.
|
I love Boston Market!!! I think it's some of the better fast food.
They don't have it here :( It reminds me of Swiss Chalet. |
I love Boston Market!
I love their mac and cheese and their tortellini salad, and the chicken's really good too. I want to try the pot pie too. |
Awww so it's like a upscale KFC. Is it the same price as KFC?
|
I love Boston Market! :) I can't step foot in there, though, because I will go straight for the stuffing.
I don't like their current ad campaign, though. Our local Boston Market delivers (for a not-so-small fee). How lazy do you have to be? |

I like Boston Market, because where else do you get a choice of 15 different vegetables AND corn bread?
Their meatloaf is good, too - IF you get it without the gravy! |
Re: Boston Market
You had to mention that didn't you . . now I am starving.

damasa and I have had more than one IM convo about the Boston Market.
I'm a huge fan of the cinnamon apples, their mango grilled chicken, and their cornbread. The one by Miller Park has drive-thru, and I love them for that. :D |
There was a Boston Market across the street from me, but I rarely went. They closed it about five years ago. I found the food expensive and not as good as homemade or restaurant food. My neighbor loved it and wrote an angry letter when it closed.
|
best thing about boston market- the kids meal is 2 side dishes and a drink for $2.99. sooooooooooooooooooooooo good!
|
Sigh....
I SO miss Boston Market! :( |
OMG I am obsessed with Boston Market! We don't have one here so I always get it every time I visit my sister in ATL. The creamed spinach is grrreat.
|
I LOVE Boston Market!!! The only thing we have here is KFC, which SUCKS!!! I went to Jersey last week and made my boyfriend stop so I could get some. That chicken is delish, although it still doesn't compare to Popeye's (my ALL TIME fave). But the cornbread is tasty. :D
|
I must be the onliest person who does not like Boston Market.

They have Boston Market items in the freezer section in the grocery store as well. I love those cinnamon apples, stuffing and the chicken. I really didn't care for the look or taste of the meat loaf. I think it was just a bad experience at one particular resturant.
|
Love Boston Market, although I still call it Boston Chicken. The sweet potatoes and those yummy roasted potatoes are worth the drive!
|
Boston Market is actually pretty good! I used to be disgusted just by the idea of fast food home cookin', but I like the chicken pot pie and the mashed potatoes.
|
I loooooove the chicken, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, corn, cornbread...everything!!!
We don't have a BM here in Como, so I only get to eat it when I go home to Omaha which is very rarely. :( But luckily they have the mac and cheese in the freezer section at the grocery store here so I can still at least get that! |
For those weeks where the kids have some activity every night and there is no time to cook, it feels like you're getting a "real meal" rather than fast food when you hit Boston Market. I love their chicken, cinnamon apples and mashed potatoes. For those who think it's healthier than a greasy burger and fries though, I had read that they are just as high in fat as the other fast food places and that their chicken is actually higher in fat than KFC's!
I love it though! Dee |
still tastes wicked good.
god bless the freezer section at alberson's. |
Their cornbread is nasty, don't try it. And their green beans are gross as well. Only thing I like is their chicken and potatoes & gravy.
But if thats all you want....go to KFC, it's much better. |
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Boston Market. It is like thanksgiving everyday when you go there.
They took ours out a long time ago . :( I was at 99 cent only store the other day getting my son easter stuff for his basket and my mother rolls up to me and found a jar of boston market brown gravey for 99 cents...... Can you say OH YEAH! Nothing beats their mash and gravy or mac and cheese and stuffing.....AHHH! and i do love spinach.. i love corn bread too. i am soooo dam hungry now |
