Welcome to my Hawai`i. The other day it cost me $23.75 to fill up my freaking Honda.

It's almost at $3/gallon on the neighbor Islands now.

SATX*APhi 03-27-2004 07:21 PM

Murfreesboro: cheapest I have found is $1.59

The1calledTKE 03-27-2004 08:04 PM

Sometimes I think about it...

$40 monthly BUS PASS?

or

$95 a month just for GAS (without a car wash)?

ThetaPrincess24 03-27-2004 08:21 PM

$1.74 for regular here, though it was $1.79 earlier this week.

I long for the days of the summer of '99 when gas here was like 89 and 79 cents per gallon...........me thinks I'll never see those days again :(

bcdphie 03-27-2004 10:08 PM

$.86/litre in Vancouver - it's getting out of hand

tinydancer 03-27-2004 10:15 PM

Paid $1.65 today here in Fort Worth. I remember back when I was a student at UT and gas went up to $.50 a gallon, and you had to get in line by 7 a.m. to fill up, because the stations would close by noon!!

AOPIHottie 03-27-2004 11:28 PM

Glitter650 03-28-2004 12:15 AM

The most expensive I've seen is 2.69.... I just paid 2.23 :( 24 dollars to fill up my like 11 gallon tank... well I guess that's what you get for living in the 2nd or 3rd most expensive city in America... == sigh ==

Kevin 03-28-2004 12:42 AM

$1.49 for regular right now in Edmond, OK.

Glitter650 03-28-2004 12:52 AM

at $1.75 a gallon it takes $23.00 to fill up my Honda. i would have a heart attack if i had to fill my tank at nearly $3.00 a gallon

kappaloo 03-28-2004 01:14 AM

It's currently .766 a litre here in Waterloo. i don't know what that converts to ...

Sister Havana 03-28-2004 02:40 AM

$1.79-$1.93 in the western suburbs of Chicago. Probably over $2 in the city but I don't know for sure. Too freakin' high!

CarolinaDG 03-28-2004 02:49 AM

$1.51 in Columbia, SC... usually a little lower in Clover ($1.48, maybe???)

I've heard there's some place that it's $3 in California.

For those with liters, does anyone know about how much that is in gallons??? Wondering if it would help the northerners to go to Canada?

I hear you, Glitter650...

I hate the rest of you!:) Your gas is so inexpensive especially when you need the Supreme; I paid $2.35 a gallon yesterday. Glitter is right, what some of you are paying less than what I have ever paid for gas...

Because I'm bored...

1 US gallon = 3.7854118 litres

Thus the Waterloo price of gas in gallons is:
.766*3.7854118 = 2.89962544 CDN

So if we convert it to US$ ... we get
$ 2.20 US dollars

Bottom line: The price of gas is $2.20 USD/gallon (in waterloo!)

Jill1228 03-28-2004 04:46 AM

That is why y'all Canadians be rolling to Blaine and Bellingham to fill up :D

The cheapest $1.68 (Costco and Fred Meyer)
Most Expensive $1.85

Kevin 03-28-2004 10:39 AM

read this site and weep :D

http://www.oklahomacitygasprices.com

The above is one of the few good reasons to reside in the Oklahoma City area.

Today, gas dropped a penny at some stations to $1.48.

ZTAngel 03-28-2004 11:16 AM

I paid $1.73 for gas on Friday. Gas in Orlando ranges anywhere from $1.67 to $1.99.

aephi alum 03-28-2004 11:34 AM

$1.899/gal for premium, $1.789/gal for regular.

My car only takes premium. :(

Darn you border towns! (*somehow, driving the 2 hours to fill up doesn't quite make sense*)

Jill1228 03-28-2004 03:20 PM

Well Surrey and White Rock are pretty much on the border! :) I live in Surrey but work in Bellingham, WA. My husband and mother in law make the 20 minute drive to Blaine to fill up! :) Or I take his car to work in Bellingham and fill it up

Tom Earp 03-28-2004 03:53 PM

Quik-Trip controlled areas, (Big Convenciece Store) work gas prices like an elevator! PRICKS!

$1.68, but penney it down and then jump it up .10-.15 cents over night! Also add fast burning additives to make it burn faster!

Can you tell I dont like them at all!

SUVs, oh god, evryone keeps buying new big guzzlers, I drive a Honda and try to conserve when and where I can all of the time!

Oh fill up once a month or just put $ 5-10.00 dollars in till it drops a little!
