So yeah,

I come home from work and find that IM waiting for me from one of my bros.

He's a year younger than me, graduated also, cept that he's in the SA area. Apparantly he met her out at a bar Saturday night through some friends, ran his game, and took her home.

She told him that she's 29, has a 6 year old, and her husband is enlisted. He said that he didn't notice the ring till halfway through the night(after they'd been grinding on the dance floor) and when he did he felt guilt pangs and tried to do the right thing. He asked how long they had been married and she replied, too long, and slipped her wedding ring off. More drinking/dancing and hooking up ensued.

When they left the bar and he balked at taking her home, she told him that her and her husband weren't in love anymore and as soon as she got done with school they'd get divorced. So he went through with it.

So, my buddy's actions? Morally irreprehensible? or Justified?

They exchanged digits and she told him to call her again sometime.

Like, on one hand, i wouldn't want to be in that situation, being the other guy, especially in a marriage. But, on the other hand, the Holy Grail of all hookups is a Soccer Mom or MILF type, so i'm kinda proud.

Just thought i'd bring it to y'all to see what the GC pharasees think.

I don't think he did anything wrong, really. He didn't make any vows to her husband, so it's really not his problem. If she's not in love with her husband, she should leave him. To carry on like that over time is just tacky.

If she did pursue him, i think it's more her fault than his. He has no moral obligation to the husband.

Course, on the other hand, doing something that could possibly hurt a child is pretty dang bad.

Mad props for banging a soccer mom. I love banging those types of women, only mine always end up being elementary school teachers. After banging the first 5 teachers I've often wondered if my elementary school teachers were like that too.

I never felt bad for the briefest second being with someone already taken. Why would I? FRankly I am dissapointed in you that you would second guess yourself that way.

I have never actually cheated myself, and I don't consider being with someone else that is committed an off shoot of cheating.

Oh, and all those of you that have kissed/hooked with other people while in a relationship are cheaters also, no matter what you tell yourselves :D

Men who are married and still love their wives cheat all the time.....it's purely sexual, they are not in it for anything but the physical gratification, and to them it is totally understandable how they could love one woman and bang another. Well, guess what? Women do this too. I would be willing to bet that the marriage between GI Joe and GI Hoe is just fine, but he is away and she was horny and (probably) intoxicated. Also, many married women in their late 20s, early 30s need reassurance that they are still "hot" once in a while. I live in a college town and there are so many fine young things prancing around, it definitely is a pleasurable stroke to my vanity when young guys look at me "that way." I expect middle-aged men to do it because to them, I am still a fine young thing....but when a guy 8 to 10 years younger thinks you're attractive it is totally different. The buddy who got lucky felt apprehensive for a reason.....because he knows that if HE were the husband and he found out his wife had done this, whether it was her fault or not he would beat the ever lovin' shit out of the little snot who got on his woman. If this guy comes back from Iraq or wherever he is and finds out, he'll probably do the same thing even if he ditches her. Having been friends with someone in a decaying marriage, I just have to say that if the woman's marriage was that horrible, she WOULDN'T have had the ring on when she went out. That's the first thing my friend did, stopped wearing her ring because she didn't feel married anymore, emotionally.

But in Kitso's friend's case I think she was just a horny hobag. She probably called hubby and made kissy face noises the next day. He should have walked away, but since the deed is done, he can send hubby an anonymous letter instead. That should cleanse his conscience.

I'm sorry, I'm still looking over my post trying to figure out where I said I myself cheated.

My husband is a psychoand he's not afraid to admit it. If I cheated on him he would probably chain me to a stool and peel the skin off of my entire body 1 cubic inch at a time with safety scissors. Then he would go out and find the guy and make him cry for his mama before he put him out of his misery. I have no desire to cheat but if I ever did, even for a moment, the knowledge of what would happen would be more than enough to dissuade me! :eek:
