Southern Ontario GC Get Together?
 

How many GCers are in southern Ontario? Anyone want to do a get together?

I'd be up for it.... well depending on the location of the meet.

I'm thinking right here in TO, since most of us are here or within reasonable driving time. So far I've counted you, Lady Pi Phi, Kappaloo and myself among the GC regulars. Am I missing anyone?

If it happens sometime in April I might be game for it but til then I'm out in London

How's everyone's exam schedule? Maybe right after exams end?

I'd prefer sometime after NHL playoffs. I can go without raging leaf fans everywhere.

Yes, NeonPi, , CC1_GC (oh wait, he's in ottawa), gphi2k / gphi2k2 and there's a few other Gamma Phi's from U of T, an Alpha Phi from WLU (Waterloo, that's close enough) and another PiPhi from Guelph (other than Lady Pi Phi, I mean)
I think there was a Tri Delta from U of T on here a hundred years ago, but I haven't seen her in a while.

Cherub is our other Pi Phi from Guelph.

I am up for it. I'm living in the Tdot. So I game for anytime really. But I think after finals would probably be the best for everyone.

Laureagd (I think that's her GC name) goes to U of T, but I'm not sure if she's from the Toronto area (considering that we're planning for a May or so get-together). You're welcome to join us, laureagd! :)

Bumping again......U of T's exams end on May 7th, right? How's the following week? Would you guys prefer evenings or weekends (any time)?

I would prefer say a friday night.

Friday nights are good for me too.

Fridays are good for me too. Which Friday's better? I can do any Friday. Also, does anyone have any preferences as where to go? Everyone in the southern Ontario area is welcome to come. :)

I live downtown, so that area works for me. If we want to have dinner, there's the Bloor Street Diner in the Manulife Centre or perhaps The Coffee Mill in Yorkville. Any other suggestions? Coop? Any input?

There are tons of restaurants. I've never been to The Bloor Street Diner though.

Bumping again. PM me all those interested with your preferred date-- Friday, May 7th or Friday, May 14th or other. Also, what do people want to eat? My suggestion is the Bloor St. Diner. There are plenty of other places too. :)

Bloor St. Diner sounds good to me.
I'm pretty easy going. I like all kinds of food, so where ever we go I'm sure I can find something I like.

It seems that May 7th is the favoured date so far (at least from Lady Pi Phi and Moosegirl). I know that both days are ok with Coop (am I right?) and myself. What do people prefer?

Here are the choices:

1. Dinner at the Bloor Street Diner at the Manulife Centre

2. Dinner at an ethnic restaurant (Lady Pi Phi's idea)

3. Drinks and snacks at Maddy or Duke of York

4. Other (suggestions please)

I prefer dinner but I don't care where since I don't know anything about toronto (speaking from the person that took a 2 hour walk to find the ROM last summer)

I think we should stick with the bloor street diner.
I checked out their website and looked good to me.

Just as long as it's the Bloor street location.... funny but they have other sites (Like King west of Bathurst).
