stuff you want w/ letters
 

OK we all know you can get *almost* anything with your letters on it.. but is there anything you haven't seen that you would want to buy if you saw it on Greek101 or whatever ?

I've seen the Kappas carrying these really cute totes with their letters on on them, and I really want one!!! The totes are ones you can buy in the store... I can't describe them but they must have gotten someone with a sewing machine to add the letters. I want one in red so badly.

Not that I have the cash... but a huge afghan. I know they make these for known national sororities and fraternities, but it's hard to get a local one. Especially one with palm trees :)

And something that I always wanted from Greek 101 but never saw were just the customized notepads, mugs, etc with all the symbols on there. I know they aren't that hard to make but who has the time! ;)

Yes! I have one, but I want a new one just like the old one and those seem to be hard to come by. Don't know why, since I only pledged 4 years ago this fall and I got the bag on Bid Day. The ones they have now are smaller and they have a zip top, but I want one of the canvas ones with those white handles and no zipper at the top. Help me, before my old bag falls apart! :)

you can get canvas totes at any craft store. They are really popular here. A lot of my girls make them. They just buy some fabric at Joanns, trace a diecut from a set of letters they already have and fabric glue them on. You can puffy paint the edges and do all sorts of stuff with them
They do sell them in different colors, at least at the one here. They have denim and red for sure.

I can do tote bags. :)

I saw a girl with an AOII (spelled out) tote the other day on the street. It doesn't look like any of the bags on the Greek101 site. I want a bag like hers, with Alpha Gamma Delta printed on it, of course :)

I have that bag. I love it!!! I get so many compliments on it. Our fraternity has it's own store (emporium) that makes them.

I want a CRAZY HUGE pillow in the shape of letters. My friend is a DZ, and some one WAAAAAY back in her family line put a lot of effort into making the pillow.
i've been thinking about making one for myself.

that, and i want a sweatshirt that says "Delta Delta Delta" no letters, no Tri Delta; i can't find one less than $50-60 bucks anywhere!

I want stationary and flip flops that have my letters or Gamma Alpha Omega spelled out, but since my sorority is governed under NALFO and not NPC most websites only carry them for NPC/NPHC sororities.

At greekgifts.com you could probably find an afghan with your sororities crest /badge on it . I know that Greek Nation.com carries them for LGLOS and the Divine Nine.

I get so jealous when I see other sorority girls with those darn cute lettered flip flops. :( If anyone knows of somewhere online that can do those for non-NPCers, let me know!

OOH, I want flip flops!!!! Also any type of stationary, note pads, post its, pens, etc. Also Greek101 has these really adorable coffee tumblers, I want those, and the coffee mugs. Problem is, no one will make that stuff for locals.

For that matter most large corporate incentive companies e.g. www.epromos.com will put anything you'd want on anything but you'd have to be ordering in some sort of quantity so I guess this doesn't help the average group!

Ok just change my original post to say that CatStarESP4's post pretty much sums up everything I want!
BTW: CatStarESP4, Paddle Tramps, the company that makes paddles, makes bulletin boards and dry erase boards. You can buy wooden letters and put them on and decorate the board however you want. I made a dry erase board like that for my little earlier this semester and she loved it! Also, if you want a french memo board, like for photos and stuff, www.Greekshop1.com makes them for locals, they'll put your letters and symbols and stuff on it and there's no minimum, but they cost $24. It's not on the website, you have to call them or email them to order it. They emailed it to me, I have a picture of one that they sent me. Pm me if you want and I'll send it to you.

i want a hoodie and a new baby-t letter shirt with tiny letters and a new letter bag with pink letters for spring!!

is it just me, or does anyone else kinda think the letter shirts traditionally worn, with the HUUGEEE letters, are kinda tacky?? i always feel that way... maybe not to the greeks, but to the outside world.

No, actually, one of my SAI sisters thinks so too...I like them though. :)

Our local greek shop also makes mini versions of the standard 4" letters...I think they're 2". They look super cute on baby tees!

www.joetoga.com has a fairly good selection for SAI! Definately check it out.

Our local greek stores have ID holders, license plates, license plate frames, keychains, notepads, pens, and laveliers. If you want anything like that PM me and we can work something out. :)

I got my D Phi E tote on somethinggreek.com It's really big, has a zipper and you can choose your pattern.

I want a Phi Sigma Sigma scrapbook. Some company (has a K or begins with a K) is coming out with Scrapbooks and photoalbums for most of the sororities. They have the photo album for Phi Sigma Sigma but haven't come out with the scrapbook yet that I've been able to tell. I so want a Phi sig scrapbook.

Two things:

A sister once had a t-shirt and the letters had to be at least 12" big! They went from the top of the breast area almost to the waist - and it was SO slenderizing!

I also have a light-weight denim "sweatshirt" with our crest, but it's stained. I would so love to replace it!

Back before my local sorority became a chapter of AEPhi, I was sooo jealous that NPC/NIC/NPHC GLO members could just walk into the local greek store and walk out with letters, keychains, cups, stationery, etc. I really wanted one of those keychains with letters on a mirrored background. And it was so annoying when I ordered letters - the people who worked there always said "Sigma Iota Phi? What's that?" :mad:

I kinda went nuts when we did go AEPhi :p The only problem is that even with several chapters in the Boston area, the local greek store never seemed to have much AEPhi stuff in stock. I never did find my mirrored keychain.

I'd like an afghan... but I'm afraid that my husband would accidentally-on-purpose spill red wine or something on it...

And a scrapbook - what an interesting idea :)

the one thing I really, really want is a car sticker with our name spelled out. I have little letter decals (you know, those really cheap individual letters you can buy) that say DO on either side of my college sticker, but I want the nice, block letter kind that would say Delta Omicron for my window. No where I've been will make them in quantities less than like 50. For my job I work with a local sign shop a lot, though, so maybe I'll see if they'll make one up for me :)

i have always always always wanted one of those baseball style tees that has a white body and azure blue sleeves/collar that had "Alpha Delta Pi" spelled out in the "baseball" font ::dreamy eyes"
